Things that are well learned are never forgotten |ESP/ENG|
¿Nunca les ha pasado que aprenden algo en su vida tan pero tan bien, que nunca lo olvidan? ¿O que un momento específico de su infancia lo recuerdan siempre tal cuál cómo si lo estuviesen viviendo otra vez?
Bueno constantemente en conversaciones con amigos o familia recuerdo momentos de cuándo era muy pequeña y diversas actividades que hacía para el colegio, cómo es el caso de mi primera exposición, recuerdo mucho toda la preparación que conllevó eso, cómo me ponían con el papel dónde estaba el escrito a que lo leyera una y otra y otra vez.
Has it ever happened to you that you learn something in your life so well that you never forget it, or that you always remember a specific moment of your childhood as if you were living it all over again?
Well, constantly in conversations with friends or family I remember moments when I was very small and various activities I did for school, as in the case of my first exhibition, I remember all the preparation that went with that, how they put me with the paper where the writing was to read it again and again and again.
Es así como días antes me fui preparando para ese día que en aquel momento fue muy importante, y además aquí se acostumbra a hacer exposiciones y dar un recuerdo con el tema de tu exposición, en este caso las exposiciones eran sobre plantas, tanto medicinales como árboles frutales. A mí me tocó El Eucalipto, y con ayuda de mi mamá y mis tíos hicimos unos marcalibros para el recuerdo. Es que ustedes pensarán que es broma pero yo veo esas fotos me transformó en la Andrea pequeñita de ese momento.
That is how days before I was preparing for that day that at that time was very important, and also here it is customary to make exhibitions and give a souvenir with the theme of your exhibition, in this case the exhibitions were about plants, both medicinal and fruit trees. I had the Eucalyptus, and with the help of my mom and my uncles and aunts we made some bookmarks for the souvenir. You may think it's a joke, but looking at those pictures transformed me into the little Andrea of that moment.
Y es de esta manera que me aprendí mi exposición y pude presentarla perfectamente el día que me tocaba junto a mis compañeritos. He aquí dónde entra algo que la pequeña Andreita no sabía que pasaría, y es que luego de practicar y repasar tanto, esas simples líneas quedarían grabadas en su memoria hasta la actualidad. Porque si bien es cierto, que desde siempre mi capacidad para captar cosas y/o aprender, y retener la información después de leer algo varias veces es bastante buena, no pensé que eso quedaría cómo algo fijo en alguna parte de mi cerebro. Ya que constantemente pienso que hay otras cosas que durante mi vida me he aprendido excelente, incluso otras exposiciones que he presentado muy bien, pero de ninguna me acuerdo palabra por palabra cómo con esta, que además fue la primera que me aprendí.
Y básicamente es eso lo que traigo a colación hoy, que puede que aprendas demasiadas cosas en tu vida, incluso sabiéndote desenvolver en algo de una forma brillante, pero si aprendes cosas para el momento y no pensando en la posterioridad, nunca lo aprenderás realmente.
And this is how I learned my presentation and was able to present it perfectly the day it was my turn with my classmates. This is where something that little Andreita did not know would happen comes in, and that is that after practicing and reviewing so much, those simple lines would remain engraved in her memory until today. Because although it is true that my ability to grasp things and/or learn, and retain information after reading something several times is quite good, I did not think that this would remain as something fixed in some part of my brain. Since I constantly think that there are other things that during my life I have learned excellent, even other expositions that I have presented very well, but none of them I remember word for word as with this one, which was also the first one I learned.
And basically that is what I bring up today, that you may learn too many things in your life, even knowing how to do something brilliantly, but if you learn things for the moment and not thinking about the future, you will never really learn it.
Y para que no piensen que es mentira 😹, mi exposición era así "El Eucalipto es una planta medicinal que viene de Australia, sus hojas y el aceite, previenen la tos, la gripe y el asma. Gracias por su atención" jajsjdjd. Yo dudo que de verdad eso en algún momento se me olvide, nos leemos próximamente hivers!!💞
And lest you think it's a lie 😹, my exposition was like this "Eucalyptus is a medicinal plant that comes from Australia, its leaves and oil, prevent cough, flu and asthma. Thank you for your attention" jajsjdjd. I doubt that I will ever really forget that, see you soon hivers!!!💞
