[ENG|ESP] Celebrating a friend's birthday ¡It was a fun afternoon! | Celebrando el cumpleaños de un amigo ¡Fue una tarde muy divertida!

¡Holaa mis queridisimos amigos de Hive! Espero estén teniendo un buen ombligo de semana jajaja, digo así ya que hoy es miercoles y estamos a la mitad de la semana ¿entienden? ¿no? bueno, mejor sigo 😅. En esta ocasión les quiero contar que en mi oficina estuvimos un tiempo planificando el cumpleaños de un compañero pare celebrarlo en su casa y nos organizamos para cada quien aportara un dinero para crear un fondo y así comprar todo lo que hiciera falta para realizar el compartir. Todo bien hasta aquí ¿pero saben cuando planificas algo y todo parece irte en contra? Bueno resulta que en mi caso, mi amor y yo estamos juntos en la misma oficina eso quiere decir que de igual manera cada quien debe dar su aporte monetario, la pauta era de 3$ y dirán eso no es nada, efectivamente es una cantidad considerada para dar pero al ser dos quería decir que en nuestro caso debíamos dar 6$. Al principio no tuvimos ningún problema, pero como les mencioné antes, por unos asuntos en el hogar tuvimos que prescindir del dinero pero aún así no queria perder la oportunidad de compartir un día especial y el cumpleaños de nuestro compañero de trabajo. Así que tuve que pensar en una solución.

Hello my dearest Hive friends! I hope you are having a good week hahaha, I say so because today is Wednesday and we are in the middle of the week, you know what I mean? well, I better continue 😅. This time I want to tell you that in my office we were planning for a while the birthday of a colleague to celebrate it at his house and we organized for everyone to contribute some money to create a fund to buy everything needed to make the sharing. So far so good, but you know when you plan something and everything seems to go against you? Well it turns out that in my case, my love and I are together in the same office that means that in the same way each one must give their monetary contribution, the guideline was 3$ and you will say that is nothing, indeed it is an amount considered to give but being two meant that in our case we had to give 6$. At the beginning we had no problem, but as I mentioned before, due to some issues at home we had to do without the money but I still did not want to miss the opportunity to share a special day and the birthday of our co-worker. So I had to think of a solution.

Pensé ¿Que tengo en mi casa que podría aprovechar para llevar a la fiesta? así que rápidamente pense en unos ricos abrebocas (o pasapalos como decimos en Venezuela) con ingredientes que tenía en mi hogar. No les diré mucho porque se viene una receta perfecta para esas ocasiones en las que debes llevar algo y no sabes qué 😉

I thought, what do I have at home that I could take to the party? So I quickly thought of some delicious appetizers (or pasapalos as we say in Venezuela) with ingredients I had at home. I won't tell you much because here comes a perfect recipe for those occasions when you have to bring something and you don't know what 😉.

Nada más sencillo y de paso delicioso que unas bolitas con una rica salsa que la acompañe. Luego de que tuvimos todo listo nos preparamos para dirigirnos a donde sería el cumpleaños de nuestro gran amigo.

Nothing more simple and delicious than some dumplings with a delicious sauce to go with them. After we had everything ready we got ready to head to where our great friend's birthday was going to be.

Nos dirigimos en bicicleta hasta donde se estaría llevando a cabo el agasajo. La casa de nuestro amigo quedaba a la orilla de una playa y que bonito se puso todo cuando empezó a atardecer pero antes de eso nos divertimos mucho con nuestros amigos.

We rode our bikes to where the party would be held. Our friend's house was on the shore of a beach and it was so beautiful when the sunset started to set, but before that we had a lot of fun with our friends.

Pasamos un rato muy entretenido además de que estar, comimos, hablamos de todo (menos de trabajo, estaba estrictamente prohibido jajajaja) fue una tarde llena de entretenimiento, conversaciones interesantes tal vez algo de bebida jajaja.

We had a very entertaining time besides being, we ate, we talked about everything (except work, it was strictly forbidden hahahaha) it was an afternoon full of entertainment, interesting conversations maybe some drinking hahahaha

Mis queridos amigos que me leen, nunca, pero nunca ¡Jamás! se les ocurra tomar cualquier tipo de alcohol (sobre todo ron) si no han comido absolutamente nada ni siquiera un pedazo de pan porque les puede caer fatal, creanme, se los dice la voz de la experiencia. Lo cierto es que yo no soy de beber, podría contar las veces que lo he hecho con los dedos de mis manos y la vez que se me ocurrió probar ron, mi gente, para que fue eso. Solo les digo ¡no lo hagan! Aquí no bebí, pero les quería comentar eso solo para que sepan 😂

My dear friends who read me, never, but never, never, never, never, never, never! think of drinking any kind of alcohol (especially rum) if you have not eaten anything at all, not even a piece of bread, because it can be fatal, believe me, the voice of experience tells you that. The truth is that I am not a drinker, I could count the times I have done it on the fingers of my hands and the time I thought of trying rum, my people, what was that for. I just say don't do it! I didn't drink here, but I wanted to tell you that just so you know 😂.

Por cierto, la comida que llevé fue un total éxito, no se pierdan pronto la receta😄😉

Luego de un rato, como estábamos a la orilla de la playa, nos acercamos hasta allá para disfrutar y obviamente aprovechar en tomarnos algunas fotos con el hermoso atardecer que nos estaba regalando el cielo.

After a while, as we were at the edge of the beach, we approached there to enjoy and obviously take some pictures with the beautiful sunset that the sky was giving us.

Lastimosamente no pudimos abrir el portón para tomarnos mejores fotos con el atardecer pero eso no nos iba a detener jajaja

Unfortunately we couldn't open the gate to take better pictures with the sunset but that wasn't going to stop us hahaha.

Y otra cosa que no pude evitar y que no me podía ir sin hacerlo era tomarle fotos a uno de los gatitos de nuestro compañero que estaba cómodamente con nosotros tomando una pequeña siesta. Me enamoré.

Después llegó el momento de cantarle el cumpleaños a nuestro querido amigo y celebrar sus 36 primaveras. Fue un momento lleno de mucha diversión. Me encanta estar en un lugar que más que compañeros de trabajos no hemos convertido en una pequeña familia y no hay nada más lindo que eso.

Then it was time to sing birthday to our dear friend and celebrate his 36th birthday. It was a fun-filled moment. I love being in a place that more than coworkers we have become a little family and there is nothing nicer than that.
