[ENG|ESP] Enjoying the Christmas lighting in my village | Disfrutando del encendido navideño en mi pueblo

Hello my dear friends of Hive! We are in this time where the avenues begin to be decorated with garlands and colored lights, where there are many people in the streets shopping and in the case of Venezuela the gaitas, the aguinaldos and the Christmas parrandon begin to sound everywhere.

One of the things I most enjoy this month are the decorated places and this time, because of my work I was part of the process of decorating the square in my town and I have to tell you that I was very pleased as with some love and creativity a place begins to take life

¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Estamos en esta época donde las avenidas comienzan a ser adornadas con guirnaldas y luces de colores, donde abundan las personas en las calles comprando y en el caso de Venezuela las gaitas, los aguinaldos y el parrandon navideño comienzan a sonar por todos lados.

Una de las cosas que más disfruto de este mes son los lugares decorados y en esta ocasión, por mi trabajo fui participe del proceso de decoración de la plaza en mi pueblo y he de decirle que me agradó mucho como con algo de amor y creatividad un lugar comienza a tomar vida

I am excited as my town is slowly starting to have life again, although I had to work this day, I enjoyed the Christmas lighting with my love @hectorfaria1.

Me emociona como mi pueblo poco a poco comienza a tener vida de nuevo, aunque me tocó trabajar este día, disfrute mucho junto a mi amor @hectorfaria1 del encendido navideño

Whenever I went to this event of the lighting of the lights in the main square of the city, I had to see when everything had already started and the lights are on. I had not had the opportunity to see from the beginning when people start counting down to 0 and see the square light up as well as the sky on this occasion with the fireworks. I was very excited to be a part of it.

Siempre que iba al encendido me tocaba ver cuando ya todo había comenzado y las luces están encendidas. No había tenido la oportunidad de ver desde el inicio cuando las personas comienzan a contar hasta llegar a 0 y ver la plaza iluminarse al igual que el cielo en esta ocasión con los fuegos artificiales. Sentí mucha emoción al ser parte de eso.

I really liked how they decorated everything and took advantage of the space so that each place had its own touch. I am sure that these days that square will be full of people enjoying their surroundings.

Me gustó mucho como decoraron todo y aprovecharon el espacio para que cada lugar tuviera su toque. Estoy segura de que por estos días esa plaza estará llena de gente disfrutando de sus alrededores.

The event was also incredible, the atmosphere was quite animated with the presentation given by Nelson Romero, popularly known in our Zulian land as "El Ayayero". There was a part that amazed me a lot and made people go crazy. That gentleman with the age he is jumped from the stage where he was singing (obviously with help) and approached the audience making a real commotion. That was definitely one of the best parts of the show.

El evento también estuvo increíble, el ambiente se animó bastante con la presentación que nos brindó Nelson Romero conocido popularmente en nuestra tierra Zuliana como el Ayayero. Hubo una parte que me asombró mucho e hizo que la gente se volviera loca. Ese señor con la edad que tiene saltó desde la tarima donde se encontraba cantando (obviamente con ayuda) y se acercó al público armando un verdadero alboroto. Definitivamente esa fue una de las mejores partes del show.

As I mentioned before, this show was a great eye opener for what came next. It made us feel like Christmas had finally come to our town.

Como mencioné antes, este show fue un gran abre bocas para lo que vino después. Nos hizo sentir que la navidad finalmente había llegado a nuestro pueblo.

After the Ayayero, a duo of girls who sang the urban genre was presented, which I honestly did not like very much, but the young people who were there enjoyed the show very much. After their presentation, another gaitero group continued to liven up the night with Lula Lopez and Eroy Chacin as the main voices.

Luego del Ayayero, se presentó un dúo de chicas que cantaban el género urbano que sinceramente no me gustó mucho, eso sí, los jóvenes que estaban por allí se gozaron sumamente el show. Después de su presentación siguieron otro grupo gaitero que continuaron animando la noche con Lula López y Eroy Chacin como voces principales

We really enjoyed everything they presented at the Christmas lights switch on, I sang and danced my heart out. I ran into one of my aunts also at the site and she joined us in our celebration.

Realmente disfrutamos mucho de todo lo que presentaron en el encendido de luces navideñas, canté y baile hasta más no poder. Me encontré con una de mis tías también en el lugar y se nos unió a nuestra celebración

In spite of everything, it makes me very happy to see how my town is taking a little more life as I had mentioned before. To see how that square was illuminated and the children were running around, dancing and enjoying themselves. I really loved the bands that played, the decorations that embellished the place and the happiness that was perceived at that moment. I felt that Christmas finally came to our little town and that filled me with a lot of emotion 💜.

A pesar de todo, me hace muy feliz ver como mi pueblo está tomando un poco más de vida como había mencionado antes. Ver cómo esa plaza se iluminaba y los niños corrían por todos lados, bailaban y disfrutaban. Amé muchísimo los conjuntos que tocaron, los adornos que embellecieron el lugar y la felicidad que se percibió en ese momento. Sentí que la navidad finalmente llegó a nuestra pequeña ciudad y eso me llenó de mucha emoción 💜
