¡Hola, hola mi querida gente de Hive! De nuevo he estado algo perdida, me frustra un poco no ser tan constante como antes pero el trabajo y las cosas del hogar han ocupado gran parte de mi tiempo pero siempre vuelvo a mi lugar especial que es estar aquí escribiendo para ustedes y contarles las cosas buenas que pasan en mi vida.

Como vieron en el título del post, tenia más de 10 años que no cambiaba mis lentes viejos.
Hello, hello my dear people of Hive! I've been a bit lost again, I'm a bit frustrated that I'm not as constant as I used to be but work and home stuff have taken up a lot of my time but I always come back to my special place which is to be here writing for you and telling you about the good things that happen in my life.

As you saw in the title of the post, I haven't changed my old glasses for more than 10 years.
Esta montura fue parte de mi adolescencia y me acompañó en toda mi carrera universitaria hasta la graduación.
This frame was part of my adolescence and accompanied me throughout my college career until graduation.
Ya últimamente no me sentía muy cómoda con mis lentes, usualmente cuando me tomaba fotos me los quitaba porque no me gustaba como se me veían. En el liceo (secundaría-preparatoria) siempre me los quitaba y los usaba cuando era estrictamente necesario (o sea cuando no veía nada a lo lejos).
Lately I didn't feel very comfortable with my glasses, usually when I took pictures I took them off because I didn't like the way they looked. In high school I always took them off and wore them when it was strictly necessary (that is, when I couldn't see anything in the distance).
Hasta que finalmente decidí dar un cambio y empecé a tomar mis ahorros de Hive. Había llegado el momento de dejar ir mi viejo par y dar el paso a una nueva Andrea con lentes nuevos
Until I finally decided to make a change and started taking my savings from Hive. The time had come to let go of my old pair and make the move to a new Andrea with new lenses.
Me conseguí con un local donde manejaban precios económicos y la atencion era especial, me trataron muy bien, hasta me ayudaron con las fotos para realizar este post jaja. Con mucha atención me realizaron el examen de los ojos para luego proceder a escoger la montura que mejor me quedara.
I found a place where they handled economic prices and the attention was special, they treated me very well, they even helped me with the photos to make this post haha. With a lot of attention they made the eye exam and then proceeded to choose the frame that best fit me.
Había una que me llamó mucho la atención pero no pude escogerla, la montura era muy delgada y de un material de metal y debido a que yo tenia mucho aumento y los cristales quedarían muy gruesos, la montura que tenía que escoger debía ser resistente. Por lo tanto tuve que elegir otros lentes que también me agradaron mucho como los que ven en esta fotografía.
There was one that caught my attention but I could not choose it, the frame was very thin and made of a metal material and because I had a lot of magnification and the lenses would be very thick, the frame I had to choose had to be resistant. Therefore I had to choose other lenses that I also liked very much like the ones you see in this picture.
Pero luego hubo uno que me llamó la atención y dije, ese es para mi. Y la verdad es que unos buenos lentes si le dan una vista diferente a tu rostro, sentí que mi apariencia cambió totalmente, me sentía más "moderna" jaja
But then there was one that caught my attention and I said, that's for me. And the truth is that a good pair of glasses does give a different look to your face, I felt that my appearance totally changed, I felt more "modern" haha.
A lo que encargué mis lentes me dieron un aproximado de 15 días para recogerlos y cuando ese momento llegó rápidamente fui por mis lentes nuevos.
When I ordered my glasses I was given approximately 15 days to pick them up and when that time came I quickly went to get my new glasses.
Definitivamente cuando uno se hace un cambio de look por mínimo que sea, tu personalidad cambia, te vuelves más segura debido a la nueva imagen que provoca que te sientas mejor contigo misma porque te das tu gusto, tu cariñito, y nos hace sentir con una mejor autoestima. Al tener mis lentes nuevos sentí que ya no tenia que quitarmelos par tomarme un foto porque me gustaban mucho, me siento linda tanto con ellos como sin ellos y eso no pasaba con mis antiguos lentes, que, realizando este post y buscando las imágenes que utilizaría ¿me creerían si les dijera que casi no consigo fotos con mis lentes viejos? Fueron muy pocas, porque como les mencioné antes, siempre me los quitaba antes de tomarme alguna foto, ahora ya no tanto y me siento feliz. Y gracias a mis ahorros con Hive finalmente pude lograr conseguir mis lentes nuevos ❤️
Definitely when you change your look, no matter how small it may be, your personality changes, you become more confident because of the new image that makes you feel better about yourself because you give yourself your taste, your affection, and makes us feel better self-esteem. When I got my new glasses I felt that I didn't have to take them off to take a picture because I like them a lot, I feel pretty with them as well as without them and that didn't happen with my old glasses, which, making this post and looking for the images I would use, would you believe me if I told you that I almost didn't get pictures with my old glasses? They were very few, because as I mentioned before, I always took them off before taking a picture, now not so much and I feel happy. And thanks to my savings with Hive I was finally able to get my new lenses ❤️
