[ESP|ENG] Preparandole una sorpresa a mi amor | Preparing a surprise for my love

¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Hoy les quiero contar que hace unos días fue el cumpleaños de mi amor @hectorfaria1 y quise sorprenderlo este año con un lindo detalle. Esta vez celebraríamos su cumpleaños en nuestro nuevo hogar por primera vez;así que, debía ponerme manos a la obra.

Hello my dear friends of Hive! Today I want to tell you that a few days ago was the birthday of my love @hectorfaria1 and I wanted to surprise him this year with a nice detail. This time we would celebrate his birthday in our new home for the first time; so, I had to get down to work.

Con mi mamá cómo mi compañera de aventuras en esta ocasión, me acompañó para organizar toda la tramoya del evento. Nos fuimos desde muy temprano a comprar las cosas que necesitaba para que el cumpleaños de mi amor saliera a la perfección.

With my mom as my partner in crime on this occasion, she accompanied me to organize the whole event. We left very early in the morning to buy the things I needed for my love's birthday to go perfectly.

Ya cuando finalmente llegamos al lugar donde realizaría las compras, como no era de extrañar en esta tienda, se encontraba repleta de gente comprando por lo tanto tuve que esperar por un largo tiempo a que me atendieran

When we finally arrived at the place where I would make the purchases, as it was not surprising in this store, it was full of people shopping, so I had to wait for a long time to be attended.

Ya luego de que compré todo lo que necesitaba, mi mamá me invitó a almorzar, así que aprovechamos nuestro tiempo de chicas

After I bought everything I needed, my mom invited me to lunch, so we made the most of our girl time.

Esto fue unos días antes del cumpleaños de Hector, ahora, un día antes de la tan esperada vuelta al sol, mi mamá llego a nuestra casa para ayudarme con lo que seria la preparación de su torta. Anteriormente compré dos mezclas para realizar una deliciosa torta de chocolate, pero por dejar todo a ultima hora (por favor traten de no hacerlo) compré un cacao que planeaba utilizarlo para el relleno y la decoración muy suave, con un sabor muy parecido al chocolate con leche o que aquí en Venezuela todos conocemos como el popular Toddy. Esto provocó que la torta tuviera un sabor achocolatado muy suave, que aunque los que lo probaron les gustó, yo no quedé muy contenta con el resultado pero lo importante es que todo salió bien y que para la próxima lo podemos mejorar.

This was a few days before Hector's birthday, now, a day before the long awaited return to the sun, my mom came to our house to help me with what would be the preparation of his cake. Previously I bought two mixes to make a delicious chocolate cake, but because I left everything to the last minute (please try not to do it) I bought a cocoa that I planned to use for the filling and the very soft decoration, with a flavor very similar to milk chocolate or that here in Venezuela we all know as the popular Toddy. This caused the cake to have a very mild chocolate flavor, which although those who tasted it liked it, I was not very happy with the result but the important thing is that everything went well and that for the next one we can improve it.

Aquí podemos ver como mi mamá me ayudo en la parte de la decoración de la torta, tenemos que mejorar jaja pero para ser principiantes creo que nos quedó linda.

Here we can see how my mom helped me decorate the cake, we have to improve haha but for beginners I think it was nice.

Ya en el tan esperado día es cuando comienzo a pensar ¿como podré sorprenderlo si ahora siempre estamos juntos? Este tipo de situaciones es algo complicada, de hecho para que él no descubriera los regalos que le había comprado tuve que entregárselos a mi mamá para que los guardara en su casa porque el niño, al saber que fui a comprar su obsequio, estuvo revisando toda la casa para descubrir el "lugar secreto" donde posiblemente haya podido guardar sus cosas. Pero al saber finalmente donde estaban, desistió de la búsqueda. Por lo tanto, tuve que pensar en como decorar todo sin que el se diera cuenta, por suerte, mi suegra @cirangela le preparó también un bello detalle por lo que mi amor paso parte de la tarde en su casa lo que me dio la oportunidad de decorar el escenario donde ocurriría todo.

Already on the long awaited day is when I start to think, how can I surprise him if now we are always together? This type of situation is a bit complicated, in fact for him not to discover the gifts I had bought him I had to give them to my mom to keep them at home because the boy, knowing that I went to buy his gift, was looking all over the house to discover the "secret place" where he could possibly have kept his things. But when he finally found out where they were, he gave up the search. Therefore, I had to think about how to decorate everything without him noticing, luckily, my mother-in-law @cirangela also prepared a beautiful detail for him so my love spent part of the afternoon at his house which gave me the opportunity to decorate the stage where everything would happen.

Como mencioné anteriormente, para que Hector no se diera cuenta de lo que le iba a regalar (aunque intentó muchas veces que le dijera hasta el punto de decir que yo no le había comprado realmente nada para tratar de influir en mi y decirle jaja) tuve que darle todo a mi mamá para que lo guardara; así que, fue ella quien me ayudó también a darle forma a su regalo preparándolo y decorándolo de una manera muy bonita.

As I mentioned before, in order for Hector not to realize what I was going to give him (although he tried many times to get me to tell him to the point of saying that I hadn't really bought him anything to try to influence me and tell him haha) I had to give everything to my mom to keep; so, it was her who also helped me to shape his gift by preparing and decorating it in a very nice way.

Cuando pensé en organizarle la fiesta a mi amor había planificado en mi mente en hacerle algo de su videojuego favorito "Zelda" pero él quedó luego tan atrapado por una de las series que se fue un boom este año llamada "Merlina" que parte de la decoración como los globos, la música y demás fue inspirada en esa serie. Cosa que a el le encantó demasiado cuando llegó a la casa y descubrió su sorpresa, y el algo que me hizo muy feliz.

When I thought of organizing the party for my love I had planned in my mind to make him something of his favorite video game "Zelda" but he was so caught by one of the series that was a boom this year called "Merlina" that part of the decorations such as balloons, music and others were inspired by that series. Something that he loved when he arrived at the house and discovered his surprise, and it made me very happy.

No hay nada como traerle felicidad a una de las personas que más amas, de sorprenderlo y que esa emoción se vea reflejada en su mirada y reacción. Aquí es cuando considero cierto que no hay mejor regalo que dar en vez de recibir. Porque el hacer felices a las personas que más amas con pequeños detalles es un sentimiento que te llena el corazón. Me siento muy feliz haciendo esto y sabiendo que a el lo emocionó mucho

There is nothing like bringing happiness to one of the people you love the most, to surprise them and have that emotion reflected in their look and reaction. This is when I consider that there is no better gift than giving instead of receiving. Because making the people you love the most happy with small details is a feeling that fills your heart. I feel very happy doing this and knowing that he was very touched by it.
