FESTIVAL DEL PERRO CALIENTE😋🌭- BARRANQUILLA [ESP/ENG]

Hola que tal amigos ¿como estan?, espero que super bien en este post vengo a contarles una experiencia super chevere que tuve el fin de semana, fui al Festival de Perro Caliente aquí en la ciudad de Barranquilla, este festival se llevó a cabo en la plaza de la paz.

Para ponerlos un poquito más en contexto, desde que estoy aquí en colombia, hace ya casi 5 años he conocido variedad de comidas que en Venezuela no se ven o si es asi no las conocia, o quizá tienen diferentes nombres un ejemplo sería la carimañola hacen como estilo de un bollito de yuca molida relleno, entonces es curioso porque pienso que aquí he vivido en lo personal, la cultura de un país como más de cerca, en Venezuela lo viví, pero no con los sentidos tan abiertos como los tengo ahora y es algo que acá disfruto mucho y que los Colombianos se gozan también, entonces siento que a raíz de todo esto ellos siempre quieren sacar sus cosas a relucir, en este caso el evento era de Perros Calientes, no es algo típico pero si hay bastante competencia.

El evento estuvo organizado por Juan @soypequenojuan en IG por si quieren ir a ver un poco de lo que hace, es influencer de comida callejera y creó este festival y el festival del frito, la idea es que muchos restaurantes y emprendedores se unan con una propuesta diferente de perro caliente en el que deben usar productos locales o algo bastante característico de colombia y todos los perros calientes tendrían el mismo costo durante el evento, este duró cuatro días aproximadamente.

Les cuento que desde que llegué había una fila enorme para entrar a la zona del evento, debíamos pagar 2 mil pesos para entrar, lo bueno es que la fila avanzaba rápido, y en la entrada al pagar te daban una bebida gaseosa gratis, a mi me dieron un agua de manzana gaseosa jajaja no se, pero es rica, una vez adentro me di cuenta de que también en algunos puestos de restaurantes había fila para comprar y yo asombrada y con hambre, busque uno que no tuviera como mucha fila y que el perro caliente se viera rico, así que llegué cerca de la tarima a un puesto de un restaurante que tenía una propuesta que me llamó la atención, el perro caliente venía coronado con chorizo, butifarra, salsas y jamón en tiras, estaba bien rico y yo tenía bastaante hambre jajajaa.

Sinceramente me parece importante este tipo de eventos porque ayudan full a mover la economía de dichos restaurantes y se dan a conocer estas propuestas bien cheveres, a demas que te proporciona un espacio diferente de recreación porque también realizaban concursos en la tarima que transmitía en vivo por instagram, para mi fue un evento bastante completo.

yo luego de que comí y vi un poco de los concursos me fui a casa a descansar pero definitivamente volvería a ir a un evento como este, ¿tu que opinas de estos eventos de comida rápida? ¿irías a uno?

Hello friends, how are you? I hope you are doing great, in this post I come to tell you a super cool experience I had this weekend, I went to the Hot Dog Festival here in the city of Barranquilla, this festival was held in the Plaza de la Paz.

To put them a little more in context, since I am here in Colombia, almost 5 years ago I have known a variety of foods that in Venezuela are not seen or if so I did not know them, or maybe they have different names an example would be the carimañola made as a style of a stuffed bun of ground cassava, then it is curious because I think that here I have lived personally, the culture of a country as more closely, in Venezuela I lived it, but not with the senses as open as I have them now and it is something that here I enjoy a lot and that Colombians also enjoy, then I feel that as a result of all this they always want to bring out their things, in this case the event was Hot Dogs, it is not typical but if there is enough competition.

The event was organized by Juan @soypequenojuan on IG if you want to go see a little of what he does, he is a street food influencer and created this festival and the frito festival, the idea is that many restaurants and entrepreneurs join with a different proposal of hot dog in which they must use local products or something quite characteristic of colombia and all hot dogs would have the same cost during the event, this lasted four days approximately.

I tell you that since I arrived there was a huge line to enter the event area, we had to pay 2 thousand pesos to enter, the good thing is that the line was moving fast, and at the entrance when you pay they gave you a free soda, I got a soda apple water hahaha I do not know, but it is rich, once inside I realized that also in some restaurants there was a line to buy and I was amazed and hungry, I looked for one that didn't have a long line and that the hot dog looked good, so I arrived near the stage to a restaurant stand that had a proposal that caught my attention, the hot dog came topped with chorizo, sausage, sauces and ham strips, it was delicious and I was really hungry hahaha.

Sincerely I think this kind of events are important because they help to move the economy of these restaurants and make known these proposals well cheveres, plus it gives you a different space for recreation because they also conducted contests on the stage that transmitted live on instagram, for me it was a pretty complete event.

I after I ate and watched a bit of the contests I went home to rest but I would definitely go to an event like this again, what do you think about these fast food events, would you go to one?
