Debo decir que en esta ocasión, la curiosidad me ganó al enterarme de que la adaptación cinematográfica del primer libro se estrena este próximo junio, no quería que la pantalla me contara la historia antes que las páginas, así que me sumergí de lleno en el mundo de Leah y Axel. Lo que más destaca es el estilo narrativo de Alice Kellen; su prosa es sumamente poética y visual, logrando crear una atmósfera íntima que te hace sentir cada emoción como si la estuvieras viviendo. Su capacidad para narrar lo cotidiano con sensibilidad hace que la conexión con los personajes sea casi inmediata.

En lo personal este libro me pareció hermoso porque nos habla del espacio que se le debe dar al otro para madurar, aunque esto nos duela.

Esta bilogía me ha dejado reflexiones que considero importantes y que trascienden el romance convencional. A través de estas páginas, entendemos que se requiere una valentía inmensa para seguir el camino que realmente queremos, incluso cuando el entorno o nuestros propios miedos intentan frenarnos. La historia aborda con mucha honestidad la realidad de las etapas de duelo no superadas, recordándonos que sanar no es un proceso lineal y que está bien no estar bien durante un tiempo. Me conmovió ver cómo el relato demuestra que el tiempo no borra las huellas de un amor verdadero; al contrario, esas marcas permanecen y nos transforman, probando que los vínculos profundos son capaces de resistir la distancia y los años. Sin embargo, la enseñanza más poderosa es la importancia del autodescubrimiento y el amor propio; Aquí la autora nos enseña que no podemos construir una vida plena junto a otra persona si antes no hemos tenido la honestidad de reencontrarnos con nuestra propia esencia y aprender a querernos a nosotros mismos, con todas nuestras luces y sombras.
