Hand colored with colored pencils and markers: 12 Bar Chimes
Friends, the hand-drawn picture I made today with colored pencils and markers is of a musical instrument. It's the 12 Bar Chimes. If you'd like to add this instrument to your collection, you can find it in deck i174. It's a small bell divided into 12 bars. These bars are called chimes. Each bar is tuned to the notes we all know. I'll tell you a little more about it in a moment. In the meantime, I want to show you the first pictures of the drawing process.

Chimes are played with a hammer, but not a nail hammer. 😅 I know you thought that, don't play innocent. It's actually a very fine hammer specially designed for playing this instrument. It's metallic to strike the metal of the sticks and make music. In some places, it's also called a drumstick. The hammer doesn't necessarily have to be metal; in some places, wooden hammers are also used. This is done if you want to achieve a different sound.
Fortunately, this is one of the few instruments from the game that I've had the opportunity to play in real life. In my elementary school, there was one that was used to teach students about musical notes. I think I understand why: it has all 12 notes, which are the same ones used in several other instruments. That's why they used it as a first introduction to music. I used it a few times, quite a while ago now. I also got to play what's known as a tambourine.

If you're wondering what this instrument is made of, it consists of three elements: wood, aluminum, and string. The wood is for the base of the instrument, that is, where it's hung or placed on a surface. The strings are used to connect the bells to the wood. And the hammer is separate; it's not attached.
Friends, so far you've been able to see in the images how I created the drawing. Now you'll see the final touches and the classic photo with some of the materials I used to create the design.

Once again, I'm grateful to have you here. I hope to see you again soon in another drawing. Until then, a big hug.
Congratulations @andrewq!
You raised your level and are now a Minnow!
