Hand colored with colored pencils and markers: Binzasara
A big hug to you all, friends! Would you like to see a new drawing this time? Well, you're in luck because today I've drawn one just for you! 😅 I've drawn and hand-colored the Binzasara, the musical instrument from Rising Star. If you're wondering, it's found in deck R524. It's a very curious musical instrument, and I didn't know about it before this drawing. Thanks to the game, I was able to find it and even learn about it. Today I listened to several songs featuring this instrument to get a better idea of ​​how it works and how to play it. I ended up really liking it. Rising Star contributes to us in many ways, and this is one of them; it helps us learn about its own instruments.
The Binzasara itself is quite simple and not too complicated to understand. It consists of several very thin wooden plates. Obviously, they're made of a special wood to create its characteristic sound. These pieces of wood are all held together by a thread in the middle. That string is flexible to allow space for each of the plates to move and collide with each other, creating the music.
The person playing it shakes the entire instrument, and the plates begin to collide. The plates are cut in such a way that they are tuned and create the music; they aren't just random pieces of wood glued together. Although I'm sure you already guessed that. It reminds me a lot of the sound of a tennis racket. It's very similar. By the way, from what I've seen, Binzasaras come in many sizes; not all of them are the same as the one in today's deck. There are a multitude of sizes and colors. It all depends on the country where it's being used or the context in which it's used, such as carnivals or traditional festivals.
