Hand colored with colored pencils and markers: Brass Capo
Friends, a big hug to everyone. My drawing for today is of an accessory from the game Rising Stars: the Brass Capo. If you want to add it to your collection in the game, if you're a player, you can find it in the instruments section by searching for the ID i313. It's one of the newer common instruments, so it's not too expensive, and it gives you about 10 luck per deck. So today I decided to draw it; I found it quite interesting, which is why I chose it.
Well, friends, the Brass Capo is basically the same as a vise. I don't know if you know what that is. If you don't, I'll explain: it's used to press whatever you put in it and hold it in place. That's what a vise does in practice. Well, this is the same thing, but instead of holding tools, it holds the strings of a guitar. It's usually placed on top of the strings to press them against the neck. You know, the neck is the long part of the guitar. By pressing them with this accessory, you can create new notes that wouldn't be easily achievable with one hand, making playing much easier.
I've seen this accessory several times in music videos I've watched online, especially in country music, which is one of the genres I listen to most. They're used to create that typical farm and country sound you see in movies and in the music itself. I'm really surprised at how much this accessory can change the sound. By the way, if you didn't notice while I was drawing the Brass Capo, it has a screw on the back. That's for attaching it to the guitar neck. I forgot to mention that detail earlier, so I left it for last; that's why I compared it to a vise before.
