Hand colored with colored pencils and markers: Cherry Violin Bow
I send you all a big hug, my friends. Today I painted something different, something I haven't painted before. I have painted a violin before, but only one, several months ago. Today's painting is a violin accessory, not an instrument like the ones I've been painting lately. It's a violin bow, and you can find it in the game Rising Stars under the title "Cherry Violin Bow." It's identified in the market by the serial number i308.

If you're not familiar with it, here's a brief explanation. The bow is the piece that is rubbed against the violin strings. As you know, the violin isn't played with the hands or fingers like a guitar. Instead, this bow is used. The bow is made of wood, but the white part is actually stretched hair, which can be animal or synthetic. Of course, it's very high-quality bristles. When this material is rubbed against the strings, it creates music on the violin. It's not easy to play at all, that's for sure, as it requires a lot of technique. The most difficult part is playing long, sustained notes. The violinist has to know how to pull back and, so to speak, reload the bow's movement to continue playing.

You know, although in this particular case the deck says it's a violin bow, there are many types of instruments that use a similar accessory. We have the double bass and various stringed instruments. That's not even counting the many variations that exist all over the world, like the instruments from Japan.
I loved being able to draw it today. And as you can see, the drawing is almost finished. I want you to see the final highlighting to complete it, and as usual, some of the materials I used to make this drawing.

Friends, these days I'll also bring you more drawings of stringed instruments. As a curious detail, I'll tell you that I've done very few of this type; I think I can count them on one hand. But next week we're going to change that with several drawings of this kind. Thanks for visiting, hugs and I'll be back soon.
