Hand colored with colored pencils: i239 Tibetan Bells
Friends of Hive, from afar, I send you all a hug. The reason for this new visit to the community is to show you a drawing I made. This drawing is inspired by the card i239 Tibetan Bells. Unlike my two previous drawings, I've never seen these in person. Well, I think the name already tells you where we can find them more or less. 😂 Before, I showed you the keys, which I've seen and played, and also the maracas, which I've made and played. It will be a privilege to show you how I did this work.
First, I wrote the name of this card on a piece of paper I had on hand. Then I underlined it with two lines above it. I left the numbers outside the lines so they would look the same as the card I used as a guide. After that, I used my ruler to create the base of the card around the name and the lines I made.
With my black pencil, I traced the bells. The shape is circular, with a string connecting them. I find it interesting that the bells are connected by that string. What do you think the reason is beyond connecting them? I think it would be interesting to know. That's how we all learn from these instruments.
I took a light blue pencil and colored the entire edge, then the insides. I made the part of the crowbar green, as it should be. As for the parts near the bells, I used bright green with a bit of black.
Then it looked like this:
The step I always leave for last is highlighting. It involves taking a bold black marker and going over each edge of the card, as well as the drawing of the bells. This way, everything stands out and doesn't look pasty.
