Hola a todos los que estén leyendo esta publicación espero se encuentren bien. Hoy les voy a comentar y recordar sobre un juego muy reconocido en su época y que en lo personal fue de los que más jugué y más me emociono su historia. Se trata de “Max Payne”.

La historia de este juego se basa en la vida de un Ex detective americano y agente de la “DEA” el cual será nuestro personaje a manejar “Max Payne” que un día al llegar a nuestra casa descubrimos que la han allanado delincuentes y debemos matarlos antes que le hagan daño a nuestra esposa y nuestra bebe, desafortunadamente al llegar a la habitación principal vemos que ambas fueron asesinadas. Aquí empieza la aventura de Max por el mundo bajo del crimen y las drogas para logar dar con los responsables del asesinato y aclarar todas las dudas al respecto, junto con los ataques psicológicos y traumas con los que debe lidiar Max por la muerte de su esposa e hija. Para complicar más las cosas nos logran inculpar de la muerte de un policía amigo y ahora depende de Max resolver todo esto al margen de la ley para volver a tener su reputación. /Historia investigada apoyándose en wikipedia

Here begins Max's adventure through the underworld of crime and drugs to find those responsible for the murder and clarify all doubts about it, along with the psychological attacks and trauma that Max must deal with due to the death of his wife and daughter. A lo largo de la aventura iremos por zonas de la ciudad de Nueva York y clubes nocturnos llenos de drogadictos y los delincuentes de la banda responsable de todo esto, todo por culpa de la droga llamada “Valkyr” usando simplemente “V” para abreviar , en una de muestras misiones debemos entrar a un famoso club llamado “Ragna Rock” en busca de respuestas sobre el crimen y quien nos trata de inculpar de todo ello pero junto con esto terminamos encontrado una gran cantidad de enemigos y realizamos una verdadera masacre en el club lo cual solo sirve para dejar peor nuestra reputación. No solo nos enfrentamos a delincuentes sino también a corruptos.
Throughout the adventure we will go through areas of New York City and nightclubs full of drug addicts and the criminals of the gang responsible for all this, all because of the drug called "Valkyr" using simply "V" for short, In one of our missions we must enter a famous club called "Ragna Rock" in search of answers about the crime and who tries to blame us for all this, but along with this we end up finding a large number of enemies and carry out a real massacre in the club which only serves to make our reputation worse. El juego sabe usar muy bien la narrativa en escenas de comic de los 90’ y el misterio junto con los elementos y problemas psicológicos a los que se enfrente Max. Dando como resultado uno de los niveles más memorables, curiosos y traumáticos para aquellos que los jugaron muy jóvenes, siendo el mismo el nivel de pesadilla donde Max al estar bajo los efectos de la droga tiene alucinaciones y pesadillas sobre los eventos del día del asesinato, en donde será la casa toda oscura con música lúgubre y llantos tanto de la esposa como de la bebe de fondo, además de eso el famoso laberinto de sangre, en donde Max para pasar de una habitación a la otra deber atravesar una sala totalmente oscura con un laberinto formado por líneas de sangre en el piso y una especie de nieve roja adicional a la música y llantos, si te sales de las líneas de sangre te caes al vacío y mueres. Al final de la pesadilla se descubre que la sangre era de la bebe y la esposa. Una de nuestras principales aliadas será una asesina a sueldo que conoceremos llamada “Mona Sax” con la cual tenemos enemigos en común.

Una de las cosas más características de este juego así como la saga en general es el uso del “bullet time” el cual consiste en ralentizar el tiempo por breves momentos al saltar o caminar para tener una mejor precisión y dando un efecto increíble. En el juego contaremos con una gran variedad de armas a nuestra disposición siendo un total de 13 y al más puro estilo de los juegos de antaño Max no tendrá ningún inconveniente en poder cargar todo al mismo tiempo, para recuperar nuestra salud contaremos con Analgésicos que encontraremos a lo largo de la aventura y serán nuestra única forma de recuperar salud puesto que la vida no se regenera sola. Dependiendo de la dificultad que escojas los encontraras en mayor o menor medida.

El apartado grafico de “Max Payne” es increíble para la época con líneas sombrías, un estilo añejo y lúgubre consiguiendo un entorno realmente envolvente. Junto con esto sus efectos de audio y sonoros van a la par con sus diseños, contando con melodías tan características que todo aquel que lo haya jugado las recuerda perfectamente y las mismas le daban ese toque único al juego y esa sensación tan especial, más aun aquellas famosas y tétricas melodías de las pesadillas de Max. Un juego que ha envejecido muy bien y logro marcar una época completa pues su mecánica de “bullet time” es tan popular y usada hoy en día.
