Yeah I feel you in the end it all those little coins add up, I should know, the nasty habit of smoking cigs depletes them, thankfully I'm a rather cheap person so I save up on the everything else.
When you talked about setbacks it reminded me of all of my eng shitcoins, most of which have completely crushed and for a moment there almost made want to quit.
But when it hits it hits right? A few others such as splinterlands, leo did end up being successful and I'm sure some others will rise again.
Can't wait for that day, until the it's cents on pennies until I also become an overnight success.

There is a wise old saying in my country.
I have all of those tokens too. Sold some for a few hive. Still have some that are worth nothing and also have a few that are doing ok. The majority of them were for nothing so if they are worth anything its a win. Give it a few years and at the rate things develop you could have thousands of airdrops and tokens.
The good thing is that if even a few of them do well you will come out of it fairly well.
DEC could be valuable in the future, the game keeps getting stronger. Leo have a good plan and will be buying back their tokens. Hivebay looks promising and i'm sure there will be plenty yet to come.
All those pennies could turn into pounds some day. Worst case scenario you sell them for a few hive or they disappear.
I will just let them accumulate until then like my big jar of coins.
