Lip serviced by the smirks in suits,
Status says preach and church
Follows suit as none bats
An eye.

The streets need a launching pad
But that ain't part of the design.

It's trick or treat economics,
The tips keep the hosts fat
And the cool cats seek
Copy cats of copy cats,
Feeding the machine
In perpetuity,

A crack nothing but a smile,
Nothing a laugh can't mask.
