Before writing my post, I researched the financial meaning of asset and value. I understood that an asset is something we own, like my cell phone or my box of markers. That feedback, the opinions, suggestions, and encouragement that other users show me when reading my content, motivating me to improve every day, is the real benefit this asset generates in my life, and it's just as significant to me as the financial rewards I receive.

I don't mean to say that I don't care about the rewards for my posts; I love them, and in fact, they were one of the things that attracted me to Hive. However, I've learned that beyond its financial value, Hive is an asset that belongs to me, just like my cell phone. My phone is an asset I take great care of because it's the fruit of my labor creating content; I use it well for writing and research for my school. and continue growing on the platform.

I consider Hive an asset, but of a different nature, because I feel it's part of me; it's like my home. Maybe I can't touch it or take it for a walk, but it's there and it's part of my daily life. Every time I take a photo, play a game, draw, or imagine a crazy story, I think: "This is for Hive." Inevitably, Hive is already part of my daily life and who I am.
