A Lunch Experience At An Old House That Feels Creepy

We never thought there would be a strange feeling in a cafe before we actually entered it.

In fact, this is an experience of delicious food that is not worth regretting. But behind that delicious taste, I also felt something creepy. That was quite surprising for me.

When you first enter the place, it says Awaian Coffee House. Yes, really a combination of a coffee shop and a house. That's because the coffee shop was founded in a classic house

According to you, the building of the house that is used as a coffee shop is quite old beyond my age 😅. That's because the furniture is also designed using the wood used in ancient houses in Indonesia.

However, this house gives the impression of being a rich person's house because it is a multi-storey house. Looks majestic. Also, spacious.

In the past, in our area, we called houses with multi-storey designs as rich people's houses. Traditional houses in Indonesia do not use multi-story designs. Of course, it takes a lot of money to make a strong foundation for a multi-storey house.

Once inside, the building looks big. With some furniture that I think is original from that house. Looks a little dusty in the corners of the house. Like nothing touches those areas.

Chairs and tables were placed randomly to fill the empty space in the house. Meanwhile, there are also chairs placed in a bar-like area in the house which looks like it existed before the house was turned into a cafe.

Meanwhile, I climbed the stairs to the second floor. The steps are sturdy and didn't make a sound at all when I climbed them even though they were made of wood.

The lighting in the building still uses the old system. With transparent material on the walls to catch light into the building.

The roof also uses wood material which still looks sturdy. Also shiny.

I was amazed how the wooden material there still looked shiny even though I was sure it had been there for quite some time.

Well, when I got to the top floor, I immediately felt goosebumps! I saw two rocking chairs placed on the balcony with wooden material that looked worn out.

I didn't take a photo because I was afraid. Because there was no one on that floor.

I immediately went down to the 2nd floor, where my husband was waiting there. We sat near the stairs.

Coincidentally, our food order had arrived. I tried to forget the Creepy feeling I had earlier.

I immediately poured the iced green tea that I ordered. 😅 It was a strange experience but luckily I was brave enough to stay there longer. At least until I finish my food.

Grilled Chicken With Rosemary

Actually, seeing Rosemary on my plate made me remember Hollywood horror films. In my area, Rosemary is not a common thing for cooking.

My brain can think of murder at the dinner table when I see Rosemary! I was in a hurry to finish my food!

Ah, luckily it feels good, even though it can't be said to be delicious. There was a burnt surface and an unfamiliar taste on my tongue. Maybe they use spices and herbs that are not common in Grilled Chicken.

I don't want to waste food. So, I finished the whole meal quickly. Then asked my husband to leave there, before anything strange happened there. Ruuuuun!
