Beautiful Layered Bubble Gum With Orange Pudding
Pudding from plant-based jelly does look normal. But if served in two layers with two different colors and flavors, it can be a beautiful and delicious combination.
Pudding with a chewy texture from jelly is the main favorite dessert of my family, especially the little ones. So desserts are always an option on the list for family sweet treats.
When I took my nephew shopping at a market, my nephew just put instant pudding products into my shopping cart. I didn't really pay attention to the taste details of the product and ended up letting the product also be paid for during the payment stage.
BUBBLE GUM PUDDING
To be honest I was quite surprised when I got home and checked my grocery bag. The instant pudding product chosen by a nephew of mine turned out to be a product that I had never cooked before.
Pudding with the Bubble Gum flavor variant sounds interesting. And maybe my little nephew took this product because the blue packaging of the product is quite eye-catching at first glance.
In the product description, we don't need to add any more ingredients. Simply boil the powder with up to 700 ml of water. We don't need to add sugar, cream, or anything else.
Then, I thought about adding another flavor variant to combine into a beautifully layered pudding, which is also delicious.
I was looking for references on the internet about this bubble gum flavor. It turned out to be a sweet, sweet-smelling bubble gum taste. I also thought of combining it with something fresh and sour.
MIXED BUBBLE GUM WITH ORANGE FLAVORS
So I decided to mix bubble gum flavor with orange flavor. For the orange flavor, I don't use instant pudding. I use fresh orange fruit to make orange juice.
I also added about 150 grams of sugar so that the orange taste wasn't too sour because I tasted a little of mine which turned out to be sour. If the stock of oranges has a sweet taste, you can add less than 150 grams of sugar depending on the taste of each person.
Well, how to make this layered pudding is very easy. We just need to bring the ingredients together in the pan until it boils and then put it in the mold. The tricky thing is that we have to cook for different layers at different times. We have to wait for the first layer to harden a bit, then add a second layer to successfully form a layer of beautiful color gradations.
FIRST LAYER OF PUDDING
For the first layer of pudding, here I used the orange layer. Because I wanted to make a pudding that didn't come out of the molds and was eaten right away, I chose to serve the pudding by the glass.
First of all, I created the orange layer. I make orange juice and up to 700 ml of water. This dosage is for one pack of Agar Powder.
Then I mix orange juice with water, and also Agar Powder. Stir well then cook and bring them to a boil.
Keep stirring the pudding mixture until it boils. Then remove it and put it in a serving glass. Add only half a cup of pudding mixture, because the other half glass will be filled with the second layer of pudding.
While waiting for the orange layer to harden, I prepared a layer of bubble gum. It's quite easy. I just have to look at the instructions on the back of the packaging for a good finish.
I mixed bubble gum pudding powder with 700 ml of water. Then bring it boils. Remove and stir briefly to remove hot steam from the bubble gum pudding mixture.
After the hot steam disappears or reduces, it is added to a glass filled with the previous layer of orange pudding. Be careful when adding layers of pudding. Pay close attention so that the first layer is hard, then you can add a second layer.
Let cool the pudding layer, then place in the refrigerator until set before serving. Serve with garnishes. We can use fresh fruit or cream as a garnish for a super pretty pudding. I serve the pudding with slices of oranges. What a beautiful pudding!
I really like the result of this pudding. Colorful, delicious, and I love the mix of textures. The texture of the bubble gum pudding is very soft, while the texture of the orange pudding layer is chewy. So the combination of the two textures makes for the perfect combination!
