Coffee Time by A Pool Side
Just imagine, only you with coffee beside a hotel swimming pool. You don't want to move from there as if you want time to stop moving again.
The Coffee Shop Prompt this week caught my attention to write this post. About the activities carried out when visiting a coffee shop.
Usually, I will bring my laptop to the coffee shop that I stop at. There, I will write, imagine an idea for me to think about further on its realization, and more.
But this coffee story for TCSP this week is really different. I don't get involved in my work at all. I keep my laptop in the hotel room. I just drink coffee while splashing in the pool! What a fun activity to do! So, let's read the coffee story!
A Pool Side By OS Style Hotel
The story this time is actually part of my trip to Batam City. When I stayed at OS Style Hotel that time. They provide a coffee shop at the corner of the pool.
Indeed, in some hotels that combine a swimming pool with a coffee shop or cafe, they will limit swimming hours until 18.00 for visitors. That's because of safety reasons as well, visitors can drink coffee or dinner with a romantic swimming pool atmosphere.
My husband and I came to the coffee shop around 5 pm. My husband decided me to swim. Meanwhile, I don't.
I still can't swim for fear of drowning my face in the water, so I finally decided to just drink coffee.
I ordered a hot cafe latte. Uppps, the latte art looks broken because it was blown by a strong wind. Does not matter. The most important thing is that it doesn't interfere with the taste of the latte itself.
Holding a cup of hot coffee with a cold atmosphere, aaaah, it's a kind of peace that sinks into the warm skin to my heart. ❤️☕
I really enjoyed being there watching my husband swim. As for me, I just dipped my toe in the pool. Even if it's just that, I already feel happy.
The most important thing is that there is a cup of coffee in my hand, and there is a loved one with me at that moment ❤️😍
A Romantic Vibes
One tip worth doing. Choose a weekday to go to the hotel and you will feel like the world is on your own. Because only a few people there.
That's what I experienced with my husband. It feels like it's just the two of us. Plus, the romantic atmosphere at the OS Style Hotel pool.
They create a beautiful, romantic, night cafe atmosphere with lots of lights. Also, there is a love-shaped decoration that strengthens the romantic impression of this place.
In addition, they adjust the lights around to seem dim but still warm. As if those were the vibes that the visitors deserved to get there. Even though they are not in pairs, the rewards themselves are also quite decent.
Me and Coffee by A Pool Side
It doesn't matter I can't swim. I can drink coffee while playing my feet in the pool!
In fact, I was there until it got completely dark. I love looking up at the sky. Luckily, it was a sunny day. What a beautiful day!
Because I stayed there long enough, I finally decided to order a cake. I got a slice of cheesecake.
They said in the menu book, this is a slice of cheesecake. I thought it was a real cheesecake I had in mind. Well, in fact, cheesecake is a cheese-flavored sponge cake and it's also topped with lots of cheese!
Fortunately, the cake is delicious. So, I don't mind the mistake in the name of the cake. lol.
Overall, I'd be happy to do water play activities again, while drinking coffee at a pool side! Unfortunately, I won't be able to do this where I live. I have to go to another city. But, it's always worth doing even if you have to travel far.

Ah, I was curious about the kind of cake because I could tell that it was cheese on top. That's something worth noting, because my husband LOVES cheesecake and he would have been so disappointed if he got that version of a "cheese cake" 😅
