Creamy Spaghetti For Dinner
When was the last time you had a romantic dinner with your partner? Go on a date out to get some fresh air in a new place, or just have an outdoor dinner in the corner of your garden.
We all have our own way of enjoying time with our partners and families. My husband and I don't have children yet. So, we can still freely go to new places.
We have a commitment to enjoy our free time before having children later. When we have children later, we will focus on our children and will rarely go dine out.
So, this time I will invite you to see my dinner in a place that I have never been to in my city.
The place my husband and I visited was called "Soeta Dining Hall". This is the first restaurant that carries the concept of fine dining in my city.
Luxurious and Classy Building
As soon as I enter this place, I can feel their efforts to make "Soeta Dining Hall" look like a luxurious place.
Play of architecture and application of building textures. The striking exterior. But sadly, for the interior, they couldn't do more. Just standard.
They didn't dare to apply things any deeper. It looks just like a clean and tidy place. Just that. Do you guys agree with me?
I admit, I quite enjoy the atmosphere of "Soeta Dining Hall".
It's just that, it still feels less memorable than the fine dining restaurants I've been to in other cities.
For the semi-outdoor section, it is quite impressive with the texture and lighting of the building. Urban design is very thick on this side. Also, there are lots of places to take pictures. Make a memory in this place.
(NOT) The Best Spaghetti
I only go to fine dining restaurants once in a while. Usually I will order a menu that I don't eat for daily food. So, from that I can enjoy other foods. Usually I will order food with salmon ingredient which is also good for health, and I can't get it more often at my home preparation.
I'm quite confident and have good expectations when I come to "Soeta Dining Hall". I think they will satisfy me. But I was wrong. Expectations always kill.
My order is coming. I ordered Salmon Spaghetti. Something that is still related to salmon as mentioned above.
From view. Hmmmm. My food plating is even better. Uppps sorry! What do you think? This salmon spaghetti looks ugly, honestly.
But... wait. Maybe that's just an initial appearance. It's not the final taste that determines. Slowly I tried to enjoy my dinner. Apparently..., that was not delicious 😭. Too salty and not balance. I thought they are not use choose the best cheese. So, the all taste is not balance. Unfortunately.
It is a special creamy Spaghetti not the best. Not satisfactory. And I can not spend.
Reluctantly, I gave a plate of salmon spaghetti which was still a lot, for my husband. Meanwhile, I chose to eat my husband's previous Dori Rice Bowl menu.
Iced Matcha Strawberry
This type of matcha and strawberry mixture has been viral on social media some time ago. I don't remember exactly when. So, I tried this blend for the first time.
From the look, it looks so sweet. With quite a lot and abundant matcha sauce and strawberry sauce.
I think it's very sweet. Too creamy texture. Unfortunately, I do not like this drink menu. I also exchanged with my husband's order.
That was all about my dinner experience at the first fine dining restaurant in my living city. I expected to be satisfactory, but apparently I wasn't satisfied with the menus I ordered.
Creamy salmon spaghetti for my dinner was really not satisfying at all. Seriously, I'm not going back to this place ever again to pay for food I don't like.
But for the place, and maybe just for a cup of coffee, hmm, maybe I'll think again.

The spaghetti does look a little sad, not as pretty as your food and so little garnish! In the UK, the grated cheese would not be added until the food was at the table.
For me, if I am paying a lot of money, I have to have a luxurious chair, nice napery on the table and nice food.
It is disappointing when you go with high hopes and the food is not as good as your own at home. My daughter will never eat pasta in a restaurant - she feels cheated! 😂
I choose pasta because pasta is sometimes we are not eat at home 😅

What a shame, I love pasta with salmon, but it is true that not all places know how to cook it.

Restaurant appearances does not always equal the food quality. I've been to fancy places to get tiny portions that were like rubber chicken. Maybe they don't put the money in paying chefs or in quality food or kitchen equipment. Of course not all are like that though. Not going to lie some of the best food I have had has come from small not so fancy places.
Indeed, seraching for good chef is not easy. And they are not pay chef for good. So yeah, worst thing happened 😅
So sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with it. Spaghetti here in Philippines is usually red or red orange because of its sauce but that one is different. About the plating? Hmm you're right, yours is far beautiful. The serve is so little, I think I won't be full having only like that hehehe. You know I am eating a lot hehehe.
