Happy Lunch at Brick Style Restaurant

Hot weather makes the body feel hot. I want to enjoy the air outside while eating my lunch. But I did not put any expectations at all from this wish of mine.

I looked around when I was on my way to Medan city. I really want to have lunch in a restaurant that has a natural atmosphere with lots of green space, and available outdoor space.

At first, I felt quite pessimistic. But finally, I was happy, I found a restaurant that I wanted at that time. Named “Roemah Bata” which can be interpreted as a building that feels homey built with brick material.

Indeed, I see the brick that has dominance over this whole restaurant. Quite interesting! Let's see.

Natural Atmosphere With Outdoor Space

The design of this place makes us feel right at home. We feel like we are sitting on the terrace of the house, looking up ahead where there are green plants that refresh the eyes as well as the mind.

Semi-outdoor is applied on the other side, so that even if it is not outdoor, visitors can still see outside with a view of the green trees.

I love how they arrange the neat greenery. Very much like a home garden that is cared for with love. Do you also agree with this?

I was lucky that time because there weren't many visitors to this restaurant. Usually, this restaurant is more crowded in the afternoon. Due to the condition of the restaurant that is not crowded, it allows me to take pictures of many sides for me to show you.

DOMINATED BY BRICK MATERIAL

As I mentioned above, this restaurant is based on the dominant brick material. So we can see the buildings in this restaurant exploring the shape of bricks with different types of bricks.

There are white bricks, orange, gray and more. Equipped with the use of traditional lights to give a classic accent. There are also several murals on the walls that add a lively and artsy impression to this restaurant.

For the tables, wooden materials have been used that highlight the texture of the wood grain. Some corners of the place use a granite texture to enrich the design.

MY LUNCH

For my lunch at that time I chose a refreshing menu, there was transparent gravy and vegetable juice mixed with fresh healthy fruit. Then then I realized I was surrounded by green vibes, including my clothes. This is a happy coincidence. That's right?

Kwetiau Soup

Rice noodles soup topped with seafood is perfect for a sunny day. The broth is fresh and light. We can add a spicy sauce consisting of soy sauce and chili.

Kwetiau or rice noodles are my favorites. That's always I like the elasticity they have. I always love them for sure!

“Roemah Bata” serves delicious rice noodle soup, and I have no small reason at all to comment on this bowl of soup. Yummy, yummy, yummyyyyyyyyy!

Mustard Greens Mixed With Pineapple

The juice with green vibes that I ordered this time was a mixture of mustard greens and pineapple. Have you ever tried this juice blend? This is one of my favorite juices because the freshness of the pineapple can mask the strong flavors of the vegetables.

I think this is suitable to try the part that is still difficult to eat vegetables and fruit. With just the right level of sweetness, this fruity-vegetable juice glides smoothly on my tongue and keeps me craving for this juice.
