Then I found corn. I began to think of combining the two of them. I have never combined oats and corn. But I think the texture will be very exciting for breakfast.

To make this special bowl of breakfast, we only need ingredients:

  • Oats
  • Corn
  • Coconut Milk
  • Sugar

How to make

  • Step 1
    Let's make corn soup first because the texture of oats is easy to dry. That's why let's prepare the corn soup for the initial stage. This will also help the corn soup not get too hot if consumed together with oats.

Blend 200 ml of corn with 200 ml of coconut milk, and add a little sugar to your taste. Blend until smooth.

If you feel the results are too thick and you don't like it, you can add more coconut milk then stir well before cooking.

Then cook the corn mixture while stirring constantly until it boils and you see a popping texture on the surface. Here I use additional pandan leaf to add fragrance. You can replace it with vanilla essence.

Turn off the heat, set aside.

Prepare oats. Cook with coconut milk. Follow the cooking instructions on the package of oats that you have.

Cook the oats according to the instructions, then remove and arrange in your breakfast bowl.

After transferring the oats to a serving bowl, then add the cooked corn soup.

You can add other fruit toppings according to your taste.

Two combinations for breakfast that will raise your breakfast level. Worth trying.

NOTE: You can replace coconut milk with milk that you like if you are not a vegan.
