Freezing fruit into ice cream by yourself is like a little magic from loving hands. Want to try some fun magic?

Ice cream always deserves a desirable look! It helps us on many occasions, yes admittedly it helps the mood, at least for me as well as my nephew.

My nephew's main reason for coming to my house is for ice cream! They like ice cream mostly, compared to other pastries.

So this time I will share with you how to make homemade vegan ice cream with only 2 ingredients. I've made this ice cream many times and have shared it in my past posts. Only this time what is different is the serving of ice cream using jars.

I have small bottles of used drinks from the “Real Food” brand. So I thought this was a good opportunity to reuse bottles instead of having to throw away bottles.

So stay tuned!

THE INGREDIENTS

  • Bananas
  • Thick Coconut Milk
  • Additional Ingredients, Hazelnut or Vanilla Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Freeze the bananas. But make sure before freezing the bananas, slice the bananas into small pieces. This will make it easier for us later if we only use a regular blender and no food processor.

I usually freeze bananas overnight. Then it will process it into the next stage in the morning.

STEP 2

After having frozen bananas, it's time to blend the bananas with coconut milk. Here I use thick coconut milk which has a creamy texture.

For the coconut milk, use the appropriate amount of frozen bananas, but not too much. Don't let the frozen bananas drown in the coconut milk.

If the dose of coconut milk is too much, then it will make the texture of the ice cream fail and become more like smoothies.

STEP 3

After the blender is finished, it's time to put the ice cream mixture into the container. Here I use the bottles.

We can include pieces of fresh fruit to complete the ice cream. I used orange pieces.

STEP 4

Store the ice cream in a container in the freezer for at least half a day, or if you can keep it until the next morning.

Then serve!

I love the texture of the ice cream in these bottles. It's not as soft as ice cream that is sold in general, but I'm glad I can make ice cream with simple ingredients.

I hope you guys like this ice cream recipe idea. Vary it with other fruits if you don't like bananas.

And berry too) I really like ice cream and fruits, both together and separately. When I was little, we made frozen juice with different berries, it was very tasty!

Making such healthy and plantbased ice-cream is amazing @anggreklestari! Isn't it wonderful that your nephew visits because he loves your healthy treats?!!! My favourite is sprinking in some cacao

Wow! I need a jar of your homemade vegan icecream. I make a lot of smoothies and it has an ice cream like consistency too. Though, coconut milk could definitely change the texture of the mixture. Thank you for the recipe. Your photography is on point as always!

And in our country, they sell baby food in such jars) I also try not to throw away the jars and store spices or other products in them. You have a cool ice cream recipe turned out.

Hi @anggreklestari! This ice cream looks exquisite, I think you have made an excellent combination of flavors, since on the one hand, the citrus of the orange contrasts with the sweetness of the banana and the creaminess of the coconut milk, a perfect balance for a delicious result. Cheers.
