Sold by Axael Velasquez (My New Acquisition)
Hola querida comunidad de Hive, hoy vengo hablar un poquito con ustedes sobre una nueva adquisición que tengo y además reflexionar un poco de como en mi país (Venezuela) es un poco difícil conseguir libros y sobre todos comprarlos, no solo por los costos si no por la escases de librerías, sin mas nada que decir comencemos.
Hello dear community of Hive, today I come to talk a little bit with you about a new acquisition I have and also reflect a little bit about how in my country (Venezuela) is a little difficult to get books and especially to buy them, not only because of the costs but also because of the shortage of bookstores, without anything else to say let's start.
No quiero generalizar mi post pues si bien como a muchos como a mí nos cuesta obtener un libro por sus costos y por todo lo que conlleva, habrá personas en mi mismo país que no es un gran sacrificio comprarlo y en general creo que en todos lados hay personas que pueden y otras que no. El caso es que a medida de que he querido ir adquiriendo libros me he dado de cuenta que más cuesta conseguirlos, porque lo que soy yo me da miedo adquirir algo que puede ser que no me guste, por ello intento investigar en reseñas, opiniones he incluso leer capítulos para ver si vale la pena reunir para él o si es mejor otra opción.
I don't want to generalize my post because even though it is hard for many people like me to get a book because of its costs and all that it entails, there will be people in my country that it is not a big sacrifice to buy it and in general I think that everywhere there are people who can and others who can't. The thing is that as I have wanted to acquire books I have realized that it is more difficult to get them, because what I am I am afraid of acquiring something that I might not like, so I try to investigate reviews, opinions and even read chapters to see if it is worth gathering for it or if it is better another option.
No es un secreto para nadie que el sueldo de la mayoría de las personas en mi país es bastante bajo para los precios y necesidades básicas ahora bien ¿Imagínense una estudiante? Mi trabajo es casi nulo y necesito cubrir otras otros aspectos de mi día a día por ello cuando quiero un libro es porque le vi algo. Los costos de los libros normalmente llegan hacer de 20$ a 30$ dólares, claro son libros que están de moda o son nuevos se pueden conseguir reliquias y otros tipos de libros en menos dinero, en mi estado no hay librerías como tal y solo una que se llama “Librería Temas” que no llega a tener libros que me llame la atención por eso siempre he tomado en cuenta comprar a librerías que sigo por Instagram tales como “La Casita de los Libros”, Libromania y Booksflea estos tienen bastantes seguidores y siempre tiene novedades a la venta.
It is no secret to anyone that the salary of most people in my country is quite low for the prices and basic needs, but imagine a student? My job is almost null and I need to cover other aspects of my day to day life so when I want a book it is because I saw something in it. The costs of books usually reach $20 to $30 dollars, of course they are books that are fashionable or are new you can get relics and other types of books for less money, in my state there are no bookstores as such and only one called "Librería Temas" which does not have books that catch my attention so I have always taken into account buying from bookstores that I follow on Instagram such as "La Casita de los Libros", Libromania and Booksflea these have enough followers and always have new items for sale.
Voy a decir algo, la situación que se llega a presentar con lo de los libros en físico, hace que muchas personas recurran q Wattpad y otras plataformas para leer, yo leí en esta y por ello hay conseguí Vendida de Axael Velasquez, una escritora venezolana muy talentosa. Yo me leí los primeros capítulos y quede enamorada tanto de la portada como lo que me estaba proponiendo la historia casi que decidí comprarlo, por favor estaba reuniendo, hace poco está escritora tuvo una forma de libros en Booksflea esta librería queda en Valencia y yo quede sorprendida, por ello le conté a mi novio quien me dio la sorpresa de que me lo llegó a comprar el detalle fue hermoso para más me conmovió que se esforzó para darme un ejemplar autografiado no se si lo podrán ver, pero tengo mi carita llena de Felicidad.
I'm going to say something, the situation that comes to present with the books in physical, makes many people resort q Wattpad and other platforms to read, I read in this and so there I got Sold by Axael Velasquez, a very talented Venezuelan writer. I read the first chapters and fell in love with both the cover and what I was proposing the story almost decided to buy it, please was gathering, recently this writer had a form of books in Booksflea this bookstore is in Valencia and I was surprised, so I told my boyfriend who gave me the surprise that I came to buy the detail was beautiful for more moved me that he made an effort to give me an autographed copy I do not know if you can see it, but I have my face full of happiness.
Me llegó el jueves y lo retiramos por MWR, yo estoy muy feliz, espero terminar de reunir para comprarme un libro que estoy viendo y que gracias a mi actual lectura puedo decir que creo que me va a gustar. Yo quiero compartir con ustedes mis nuevas adquisiciones y porque lo quería, si bien puede ser poco pero entre esas hojas se encuentran mi felicidad, amo leer y se que Vendida sería una lectura maravillosa por lo menos por lo que pude leer y por las Reseñas que he visto, espero traerles la reseña así como también nuevos libros en un futuro ¡Gracias por leer!
It arrived on Thursday and we picked it up at MWR, I am very happy, I hope to finish gathering to buy a book that I am looking at and thanks to my current reading I can say that I think I will like it. I want to share with you my new acquisitions and why I wanted it, while it may be little but between those pages lies my happiness, I love to read and I know that Sold would be a wonderful read at least from what I could read and from the Reviews I have seen, I hope to bring you the review as well as new books in the future Thank you for reading!

También soy de Venezuela y entiendo bastante el punto que tocas en el post sobre lo difícil que es para algunos conseguir libros. Muchas veces me parece irónico que no pueda adquirir un libro por el costo, sino porque no lo encuentro en librerías. También sigo esas cuentas de librerías online por Instagram, me gustan mucho y siempre quiero gastar mi dinero ahí 😅
He escuchado mucho sobre ese libro Vendida, ¿viene de Wattpad, no? No he leído la sinopsis de él, pero ya de tanto que lo he visto me llama la atención. Espero pronto leer tu reseña sobre él para decidirme si lo leo o no.
