Buenos días mis queridos #Hivers. Hoy me complace participar en esta interesante iniciativa convocada por la comunidad @beentrepreneur que lleva como título: Mi mayor desafío como emprendedora y… ¿Cómo nos perciben ellos? en la que nos plantean una interrogante que seguramente todas las mujeres emprendedoras hemos vivido antes de iniciar nuestros negocios, o en medio de ellos: ¿Cuál ha sido tu mayor desafío para emprender y qué has hecho para superarlo?

Good morning my dear #Hivers. Today I am pleased to participate in this interesting initiative convened by the @beentrepreneur community which is entitled: My biggest challenge as an entrepreneur and... How do they perceive us?, in which they ask us a question that surely all women entrepreneurs have lived before starting our businesses, or in the midst of them: What has been your biggest challenge to undertake and what have you done to overcome it?

Ser emprendedora para mí siempre ha sido un reto, en la mayoría de los proyectos que he iniciado he estado en medio de una situación económica bastante difícil, por lo que no he podido darme el lujo de organizarme bien, como me gustaría hacerlo, sino a medias, con lo que tengo en las manos en ese momento. Ya poco a poco, y con el tiempo, he ido ordenando mejor mis ideas y proporcionándole a mis empresas los detalles que han faltado, pero no en todos los casos he logrado la totalidad de éstos.

Les quiero exponer tres momentos en los que tuve que desafiar las circunstancias, para iniciar o continuar mis emprendimientos y cómo algunos de estos desafíos los fui superando.

Being an entrepreneur has always been a challenge for me, in most of the projects that I have started I have been in the midst of a rather difficult economic situation, for which reason I have not been able to afford to organize myself well, as I would like to do, except through stockings, with what I have in my hands at that moment. Little by little, and over time, I have been ordering my ideas better and providing my companies with the details that have been missing, but not in all cases have I achieved all of these.

I want to share three moments in which I had to defy circumstances to start or continue my ventures and how I overcame some of these challenges.

1)Asesoría pedagógica online con fallas de internet.

La asesoría pedagógica online inició a raíz de la pandemia ya que tuve que cerrar el taller escolar por medidas preventivas, de esa manera fue creciendo la expectativa de orientar a través de internet no sólo a nivel escolar sino universitario, y toda la situación dio paso a un proyecto más amplio que era asesorar y crear proyectos de investigación, tesis, informes de pasantía y otros tipos de redacciones a nivel superior.

Comencé muy bien, sola en mi casa, y tenía un buen equipo de profesionales laborando a distancia con algunos trabajos más sencillos, pero al integrar a alguien más a mi lado en la casa, necesité adquirir otros equipos como el router, y otra computadora. Pensé que con el internet que tenía lo iba a lograr pero comenzaron a presentarse las fallas por mi zona y el internet se iba constantemente. A veces tenía que entregar un trabajo a determinada hora y estuve a punto de fallar porque no tenía señal de internet. Incluso tuve que descargar la información en un pendrive e irme a otro sitio a resolver el problema. Me vi obligada a pedir nuevamente un financiamiento personal para adquirir un dispositivo y una línea para un internet alternativo. El problema era que si había mucho trabajo en el día, se gastaba el saldo en unas cuantas horas y ya no era rentable.

Fue cuando decidí cambiar el servicio de internet para trabajar con más comodidad pero no logré dar ese paso en el momento en que estaba activa, sino hasta ahora. Por supuesto, la inactividad en el emprendimiento de asesoría online fue por otras razones.

1. Online pedagogical advice with internet failures.

The online pedagogical advice began as a result of the pandemic since I had to close the school workshop due to preventive measures, in this way the expectation of guiding through the Internet grew, not only at the school level but also at the university level, and the whole situation gave way to a broader project that was to advise and create research projects, theses, internship reports and other types of writing at a higher level.

I started very well, alone in my house, and I had a good team of professionals working remotely with some simpler jobs, but by integrating someone else into the house, I needed to acquire other equipment such as the router, and another computer. I thought that with the internet I had I was going to make it, but failures began to appear in my area and the internet was constantly going down. Sometimes I had to deliver a job at a certain time and I was about to fail because I had no internet signal. I even had to download the information on a flash drive and go to another site to solve the problem. I was forced to request personal financing again to acquire a device and a line for an alternative internet. The problem was that if there was a lot of work in the day, the balance was spent in a few hours and it was no longer profitable.

It was when I decided to change the internet service to work more comfortably, but I was not able to take that step when it was active, but until now. Of course, the inactivity in the online consulting venture was for other reasons.

2)Horno dañado

Cuando inicié el proyecto de postres y comidas por encargo, realmente no planifiqué ese paso. Un día de vacaciones en medio de una situación económica muy crítica decidí preparar mi delicioso quesillo y venderlo. Al ver que tuvo aceptación y me pedían más, continué, pero también quise incursionar en otros postres, fue cuando tuve un percance con el horno de gas que presentó un escape y la pieza no se encontraba.

Me regalaron un horno eléctrico usado y aunque no reunía las condiciones adecuadas ni cubría mis expectativas, me sacó de muchos apuros, pero a los dos meses por exceso de uso, colapsó y murió. Lo mandé a reparar y no duró ni una semana. En medio de ese trance fue que me uní a las chicas de “Momentos Aída” para la elaboración de algunos postres navideños, y al no poder expandirme con otras comidas horneadas como deseaba, me fui por los combos de pollo a la broaster, y los almuerzos ejecutivos donde ninguno de los contornos era horneado.

De esa manera pude superar la dificultad con el horno y optar por un menú que me dio excelentes resultados. Este emprendimiento se detuvo por razones de fuerza mayor, y ahora mismo está en pausa esperando esta vez reunir todos los elementos necesarios para su regreso, y organizarme mucho mejor que la primera vez.

2)Oven damaged

When I started the custom made desserts and meals project, I didn't really plan for that step. One day of vacation in the midst of a very critical economic situation, I decided to prepare my delicious quesillo and sell it. Seeing that it was accepted and they asked me for more, I continued, but I also wanted to venture into other desserts, it was when I had a mishap with the gas oven that leaked and the piece was not found.

They gave me a used electric oven and although it did not meet the appropriate conditions or meet my expectations, it got me out of a lot of trouble, but two months later due to excessive use, it collapsed and died. I sent it in for repair and it didn't last a week. In the midst of that trance, I joined the girls from "Momentos Aída" to make some Christmas desserts, and not being able to expand with other baked foods as I wanted, I went for the broaster chicken combos, and the executive luncheons where none of the contours were baked.

That way I was able to overcome the difficulty with the oven and opt for a menu that gave me excellent results. This undertaking was stopped for reasons of force majeure, and right now it is on pause, waiting this time to gather all the necessary elements for its return, and to organize myself much better than the first time.

3)Taller de actividades escolares en pandemia

Mi taller de actividades escolares y orientación pedagógica fue mi sueño hecho realidad, y cuando estaba en pleno apogeo surgió la pandemia. Recuerdo que nos encontrábamos en pleno año escolar y estábamos recién retornando de las vacaciones de carnavales.

Al principio pensamos que se trataba de una situación pasajera y nos detuvimos, al igual que los planteles educativos, pero cuando nos dimos cuenta que la situación había empeorado y el mal iba para largo, literalmente me tambaleé, me vi obligada a suspender las actividades presenciales y cerrar el taller hasta nuevo aviso, pero los días y meses iban pasando y ya estaba consciente de que eso no iba a suceder al menos por el momento.

Fue cuando decidí continuar las actividades vía online y así finalizar ese año escolar por supuesto los proyectos de cada año para elaborar planes vacacionales quedaban descartados por lo que fue cuando surgió el emprendimiento de postres y comidas para llenar el vacío económico que dejaban las vacaciones.

3)Workshop on school activities in a pandemic

My school activities and pedagogical orientation workshop was my dream come true, and when it was in full swing the pandemic hit. I remember that we were in the middle of the school year and we were just returning from the carnival holidays.

At first we thought that it was a temporary situation and we stopped, like the educational establishments, but when we realized that the situation had worsened and the evil was going on for a long time, I literally staggered, I was forced to suspend face-to-face activities and close the workshop until further notice, but the days and months were passing and I was already aware that this was not going to happen at least for now.

It was when I decided to continue the activities online and thus end that school year, of course, the projects each year to prepare vacation plans were discarded, which is why the dessert and food venture emerged to fill the economic void left by vacations.
