Hola amigos! Espero que estén pasando un lindo día y que su semana les esté saliendo bien. Yo ando emocionada por mostrarles el dibujo que coloreé recientemente porque cada vez es más fácil manejar las herramientas que tengo a la hora de colorear.

A few days ago I went on vacation and since now I have a lot of free time I have been practicing digital painting techniques that I have seen in Youtube videos. I think I'm doing well at the moment of shading the colors with the brushes I use so I guess I'm on the right track. My goal is to color without lines although I still don't consider that I have enough practice but I hope to someday do it.

Hace unos días entré a vacaciones y como ahora si tengo bastante tiempo libre he estado practicando técnicas de pintura digital que he visto en vídeos de Youtube. Creo que voy bien al momento de sombrear los colores con los pinceles que uso así que supongo que voy por buen camino. Mi meta es colorear sin líneas aunque todavía no considero que tengo la práctica suficiente pero espero algún día hacerlo.

First as an idea for the drawing I had in mind a gothic girl but I didn't want it to be totally in that style. That's why I decided to put only the lipstick and the black shirt.

Primero como idea para el dibujo tenía pensado una chica gótica pero no quería que fuera totalmente de ese estilo. Por eso decidí ponerle solo el labial y la camisa de colores oscuros.

Physically I like to make the sketch already with the idea of what I'm going to do and that's why when I outline it digitally, I know how some things are going to turn out, which makes it easier for me to choose the colors.

En físico me gusta realizar el boceto ya con la idea de lo que voy a hacer y es por esto que al delinearlo ya en digital, sé como van a resultar algunas cosas lo cual me facilita a la hora de ya escoger los colores.

After outlining the drawing with the colors I am going to use in each part of the drawing, I choose the skin color that I can use as a base.

Luego de delinear el dibujo con los colores que voy a utilizar en cada parte del dibujo escojo el color de piel que me pueda servir de base.

For the skin shadows I used a pinkish tone and applied it on the top of the shoulder and on the corner of the other shoulder with a watercolor brush to blend it with the base color. With a more sheer brush I shaded the neckline and collarbones with the same color I used on the shoulders.

Para la sombras de la piel utilicé un tono rosáceo y lo apliqué en la parte de arriba del hombro y en la esquina del otro hombro con un pincel acuareleable para que se mezcle con el color base. Con un pincel más puro sombreo la parte del escote y las clavículas con el mismo color que utilicé en los hombros.

After shading the shirt black and shading the torso I moved on to shading and adding details to the face. For this I used the same color of shadow and added it to the lower part of the eyes to give the illusion that she was blushing and also to give a touch of pink to the face.

Luego de colocarle a la camisa color negro y de sombrear la parte del torso paso a sombrear y añadir detalles en el rostro. Para esto utilicé el mismo color de sombra y lo añadí en la parte de abajo de los ojos para dar la ilusión de que estaba sonrojada y también para darle un toque rosita a la cara.

For the nose I made a white reflex shape after having applied some red color but with a low opacity. For the lips I used a vinotint color and added a darker tone on the top. I colored the eyes in light blue and drew white lines to give them a little more shine.

Para la nariz le hice una forma de reflejo de color blanco luego de haberle pasado un poco de color rojo pero con una baja opacidad. Para los labios utilicé un color vinotinto y le añadí un tono más oscuro en la parte de arriba. Los ojos los coloreé de azul claro y le dibujé lineas blancas para darle un poco mas de brillo.

The hair was tricky because I still don't know how to do the shadows and light it properly so I just improvised on this part.

El pelo fue complicado porque aún no sé como hacerle las sombras e iluminarlo correctamente así que en esta parte solo improvisé.

I used a light base color and added light parts in different parts and with a dark color I used thicker lines to make the shading. I'm not very specific here because I was really just playing with colors that would work with the base color. As a final touch I filled the background with a beige color.

Utilicé un color base claro y le fui añadiendo partes claras por diferentes partes y con un color oscuro utilicé lineas más gruesas para hacer el sombreado. Aquí no soy muy específica porque la verdad solo estaba jugando con colores que le sirvieras al color base. Como toque final llené el fondo con un color beige.
