Este Jueves 05 de Junio del año 2022, la Vinotinto Sub-21 jugó su tercer partido del Grupo B en el Torneo Tournoi Maurice Revello, en Francia.
El encuentro se llevó a cabo en el Estadio Lattre-de-Tassigny, a partir de las 8:00 de la mañana (hora venezolana).
Los dirigidos por Fernando Batista, tenían en sus manos la clasificación a la siguiente fase del Torneo, y en donde sabían que no debían perder por nada del mundo frente a una selección de Ghana débil en la defensa y que llegaban sin anotar gol en dicho campeonato.
¿Qué sucedió durante los primeros 45' minutos?
El primer tiempo conto con muchas jugadas para ambas selecciones. Venezuela, en varios pasajes del encuentro, inquieto al guardameta africano, quien se mostro seguro y con excelentes reflejos.
Andrés Romero y Abraham Bahachille compartieron la zona medular, mostrándose solventes y en ocasiones con llegadas al área rival. Bahachille, tuvo una jugada clara en un córner y su cabezazo lo detuvo el guardameta, Obeng.
Por otro lado, Ghana, desaprovecho dos jugadas claves. La primera de larga distancia, en un balón que termina estrellándose en el travesaño y la otra en un contraataque.
¿Qué valoro de esta selección en el primer tiempo? ¡Opinión!
Desde mi opinión futbolera, valoro lo bien que estuvieron los once elementos en cancha por la escuadra Vinotinto en los primeros 45' minutos.
Se vio a una selección con determinación, actitud, comunicación, inteligente y que jugó a un fútbol colectivo bien vistoso.
De igual manera, se pudo apreciar las reiteradas oportunidades que tuvo el combinado criollo, sobre todo, el contraataque, detalle que por supuesto tienen que mejorar.
This Thursday, June 05, 2022, the Vinotinto U-21 team played its third match of Group B in the Tournament Tournoi Maurice Revello, in France.
The match took place at the Lattre-de-Tassigny Stadium, starting at 8:00 a.m. (Venezuelan time).
The team coached by Fernando Batista, had in their hands the qualification to the next stage of the Tournament, and where they knew that they should not lose for anything in the world against a Ghanaian team that was weak in defense and had not scored a goal in the tournament.
What happened during the first 45 minutes?
The first half had many plays for both teams. Venezuela, in several passages of the game, troubled the African goalkeeper, who was safe and with excellent reflexes.
Andres Romero and Abraham Bahachille shared the midfield, showing themselves to be solvent and sometimes reaching the opponent's area. Bahachille had a clear play in a corner and his header was saved by goalkeeper Obeng.
On the other hand, Ghana missed two key chances. The first from long distance, on a ball that ended up hitting the crossbar and the other on a counterattack.
What do I think of this team in the first half? Opinion!
From my soccer opinion, I value how well the eleven players were on the field for the Vinotinto squad in the first 45 minutes.
We saw a team with determination, attitude, communication, intelligent and that played a very attractive collective soccer.
Likewise, it was possible to appreciate the repeated opportunities that the national team had, especially the counterattack, a detail that of course needs to be improved.

La segunda etapa daría inicio, y para sorpresa de todos, al minuto 54' la selección de Ghana se iría arriba en el marcador, tras un contraataque mortal por el costado derecho, que terminaría finalizando de pierna derecha el jugador Zubairu Ibrahim.
Batista, confió en los suyos y le dio la oportunidad a Matías Lacava y Jeriel De Santis, dos futbolistas criollos que terminaron siendo vitales en la gestión del elenco nacional durante un segundo tiempo regular por parte de la Vinotinto.
Asimismo, de tanto intentarlo, por fin llegaría el empate, ya que en la fracción 74' Daniel Pérez pone la igualdad, luego de un centro exquisito de Jesús Paz por la banda izquierda.
Posteriormente de varios minutos, el encuentro finalizaría con empate a un gol y la selección de Venezuela inscribía su nombre en la semifinales del campeonato. Además, después de los 90' minutos, las dos selecciones iban en busca de un punto más en la penales, en donde Venezuela lo termino ganando por 4-2.
Y en su primera participación - ¡Análisis!
Y así es: en su primera participación, Venezuela inscribe su nombre en la semifinales, mostrando que tiene virtudes cómo para hacerle daño a cualquier selección en esta competición. Por eso, desde mi análisis me parece indicado que en la semifinal Batista salga con su mejor once titular, buscando el pase a la gran final.
Sabemos que no será nada sencillo, porque se encuentra la selección de Francia, selección que parte como favorito.
The second half began, and to everyone's surprise, at minute 54, the Ghanaian national team took the lead in the scoreboard, after a deadly counterattack on the right flank, which ended with a right-footed shot by Zubairu Ibrahim.
Batista trusted in his players and gave the opportunity to Matias Lacava and Jeriel De Santis, two players who ended up being vital in the management of the national team during a regular second half on the part of the Vinotinto.
Likewise, after trying so hard, the equalizer finally came, as in the 74th minute, Daniel Pérez equalized after an exquisite cross by Jesús Paz from the left flank.
After several minutes, the match would end in a one-goal draw and the Venezuelan national team would reach the semifinals of the championship. In addition, after the 90' minutes, the two teams went in search of one more point in the penalty shootout, where Venezuela ended up winning by 4-2.
And in their first participation - Analysis!
And so it is: in its first participation, Venezuela inscribes its name in the semifinals, showing that it has the virtues to hurt any team in this competition. That is why, from my analysis, it seems to me that Batista should start with his best starting eleven in the semifinal, looking for the pass to the final.

Es muy bonito ver como juega esta selección dirigida por Fernando Batista, hay mucho presente y futuro en esta sub-23, algo que me gusta, es el hecho de que jueguen con tanto orden, que haya una buena gestión del esférico y que construyan jugadas precisas y las sepan finalizar de una muy buena manera, estoy seguro que muchos de estos jugadores tendrán su hueco en el equipo de mayores, Yerson Chacón ha demostrado mucha actitud y experiencia en el campo, ojalá que la vinotinto supere las semifinales y por qué no, incluso pueda ganar este torneo que le caería muy bien al proyecto de Pekerman y de la mano de Batista, saludos y bendiciones mi estimado, gran artículo.
