A day before gives people time to see it and for it to circulate. An hour before only notifies those monitoring hive rather constantly. Many treat this as a blogging platform and may only check it once or twice a day. !PIZZA
I have never come across reposts, even those built from ecency.
The fact that the games on Sundays - the cats would already remember, but to miss, carried away by something, probably:)
