ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #96: Vintage Cars for Asean Transportation

It's another beautiful day to share my post here in Asean Hive, and this is my second entry for the challenge this year. I saw the challenge on @justineparke's post, so I didn't waste any time in joining. I remember capturing pictures of my daughter riding in a vintage vehicle soldier jeep from Bukidnon the last time.

It was not ours; it was owned by the company, and they informed me that it is still workable to drive. However, because it is vintage and expensive, they prefer to preserve it so that people are aware that vintage still exists.

I occasionally saw vintage cars on Highways, but I believe it was last year, and I was unable to photograph them.

My friend has a Volkswagen car that is maintained by her husband as a vehicle mechanic; he is skilled at maintaining cars, including Volkswagens. However, they sold it and upgraded to a truck for business purposes. In my city, I have seen some Volkswagen cars running, but I am not sure who the owners are.

There are also some other vintage cars preserved in the shop, and they occasionally conduct test drives with them. I'm just not sure what the names of those other vintage cars are. I'm only familiar with the soldier jeep and the Volkswagen, which I've seen occasionally running down the highway in our city.

My daughter did enjoy riding in the soldier vintage jeep and taking a picture as a souvenir. The cars I've posted have already become a collection, and I believe the prices of the cars are rising. This is my entry for the ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #96: ASEAN Transportation. I hope you find this entry interesting.

Thank you for reading my post today. See you in my next post, dear Asean Hiver friends 😊.

Wow, very rare to see classic American cars outside of the USA. I think the Volkswagen Beetle is painted like a movie I remember from my childhood about a talking Beetle named Herbie. I barely remember it, but I think the hood opened when it talked.
