My Entry for Community Challenge #102 Green Vegetables and Fruits

Good day to all @asean,hive friends! Today is the last day of submission to this challenge, and I'm glad that I was still able to submit my entry.Last night, we went to the market to buy some vegetables and foods good for 15 days, and I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the green vegetables.

The first vegetable that I took a picture of is mung seed, or what we called monggos.Its one of the most famous dishes here in the Philippines. The monggos are very affordable and nutritious. It can be a monggos soup with chicken or meat.It can also be mixed with other vegetables, such as malunggay or moringa leaves.

Every morning or in lunch time, we buy monggo dish in a food stall whenever I am busy working. .I just buy a cook and ready-to-eat vegetable food in a food stall here in our neighborhood.

My next picture is cucumber, and I buy cucumber also because my kids like to eat cucumber, and it lasts longer than other vegetables that I cannot stock because they will rot in a day or two.So if I buy a vegetable, I need to make sure that I cook it right away.

Ampalaya is my next picture you can buy in whole or sliced, but I did not buy ampalaya. My kids do not like ampalaya because of its bitter taste.I like ampalaya, especially with eggs. I remember when I was a kid, I also did not like ampalaya, but as I grew up, I started to like it.

I have a picture of a green banana and bought a guyabano.It is one of my favorite fruits, but it is not always available in the market, so I took the opportunity to buy that fruit. My kids also like guyabano, as does my mother. So when we got home, we split the guyabano and gave my mother half of the guyabano.
