¡Saludos comunidad!

Greetings community! This week's challenge is about a battle condition that I particularly like to combine with skills such as: "Flying", "Dodge", "Scavenger", "Martyr", "Protect", "Repair" "Resurrect", "Rust", "Shatter", among others. With a mix of different damage types in reality, it all depends on the rest of the circumstances present in the game. This week's battle condition is "Earthquake" which combined with the right strategy can give us the advantage in our battles.

zEarthquake is a battle condition that does 2 points of physical damage to all non-flying monsters at the end of each turn, and skills like "Shield" can reduce this damage by 1 point. This battle condition increases the importance of including in our compositions skills such as: "Flying", "Shield", "Protect", "Repair", "Rust", "Shatter", "Resurrect", among others. In addition to the combined use of magical attacks and range, for example. Taking into account that it also depends on the rest of the conditions present in the game. In general, in these circumstances I like to use summoners such as: "Grandmaster Rathe", "Astral Entity" and "Immortalis", as they are suitable to take advantage in games with this battle condition.

Let's move on to the Battle! In this game only the "Earthquake" battle condition was present. The available Splinters were: "Water", "Earth" and "Death". So given the conditions I decided to use the Death Splinter, since it has several monsters with good attributes and abilities useful in these circumstances. In addition, it also has the summoner "Astral Entity", whose abilities and debuffs apply very well to this case.

I used Astral Entity as a summoner in order to take advantage of its debuff that decreases enemy armor by 2 points, the "Dodge" ability it grants, and the support through the "Resurrect" ability. In the first position I used Ever-Hungry Skull as a tank, since he has a good amount of armor and the "Flying" skill. In the second position I used Will-O-Wisp with the purpose of taking advantage by reducing the life of the enemy composition by 1 point through his "Weaken" ability, also to protect the rest of the composition in case the tank dies. In the third position I used Pelacor Deceiver in order to protect the rest of the composition in case the monsters in the 1st and 2nd position die. In the 4th position I used Venari Marksrat with the purpose of boosting the attributes of his adjacent monsters through his "Martyr" ability once he dies. In the fifth position I used Gargoya Devil in order to contribute with damage from the second line. Finally I used Riftwing in order to protect the rest of the composition from possible enemy "Sneak" attacks, and to take advantage of his "Scavenger" and "Backfire" abilities in the game.

On turn 5 of round 2, Djinn Oshannus shot down Ever-Hungry Skull, the enemy had taken the lead. On the other hand, his Pelacor Bandit had been weakened by Riftwing's "Backfire" ability, and Venari Marksrat was about to die. The battle was close.

On turn 9 of round 2, Deeplurker shot down Venari Marksrat, allowing him to activate his "Martyr" ability. Thus boosting the attributes of "Pelacor Deceiver" and "Gargoya Devil". So far the enemy had the upper hand in the battle, but there was still more fighting to be done.

On turn 6 of round 4, Gargoya Devil killed Djinn Oshannus, the enemy had only 2 monsters which were low on life. In turn 1 of round 5, Deeplurker was killed under the effects of the "Earthquake" condition, leaving the enemy with only 1 monster. The course of the battle was more than defined. Finally, on turn 4 of round 5, Pelacor Deceiver took down the enemy Gargoya Devil, ending the battle. What made the difference between the strategies? Well, the enemy used few monsters with the "Flying" ability in its composition. In addition, they did not include abilities such as "Protect", "Scavenger", "Martyr", "Repair", among others. This resulted in a great disadvantage. All this can be seen in the following images.
