¡Saludos Comunidad! El Challenge de esta semana es sobre un ruleset que en lo particular me gusta combinar con habilidades como: “Thorns”, “Heal”, “Triage”, “Swiftness”, “Poison”, entre otras. En esta oportunidad decidí usar una ofensiva con una mezcla de daño físico y rango en su mayoría pero todo depende del resto de las circunstancias presentes en la partida. El Ruleset de esta semana es “Even Stevens” que combinada con la estrategia adecuada puede darnos la ventaja en nuestras batallas.

Greetings Community! This week's Challenge is about a ruleset that I particularly like to combine with skills such as: "Thorns", "Tank Heal", "Triage", "Swiftness", "Poison", among others. This time I decided to use an offensive with a mix of physical damage and range, but everything depends on the rest of the circumstances present in the game. This week's Ruleset is "Even Stevens" that combined with the right strategy can give us the advantage in our battles.

Even Stevens es un ruleset que sólo permite usar monstruos con un coste de maná Par. No aplica para invocadores. En lo particular, suelo usar los Splinters: “Water”, “Life”, “Earth” y “Dragon” con este ruleset, ya que cuentan con varios monstruos con un coste de maná Par.

Even Stevens is a ruleset that only allows using monsters with an even mana cost. It does not apply to summoners. In particular, I usually use the Splinters: "Water", "Life", "Earth" and "Dragon" with this ruleset, since they have several monsters with an even mana cost.

¡Pasemos a la Batalla! En esta partida además del ruleset: “Even Stevens” también estaba presente “Explosive Weaponry”. Los Splinters disponibles eran: “Fire”, “Life” y “Dragon”. Por lo que dadas las condiciones decidí combinar los Splinters Dragon y Life, ya que cuentan con monstruos con buenos atributos, y habilidades de soporte. Además, el Splinter Dragon cuenta con el invocador “Lily Shieldpaw”, cuyos buff y habilidades que otorga aplican muy bien para este caso.

Let's go to battle! In this game besides the ruleset: "Even Stevens" there was also "Explosive Weaponry". The available Splinters were: "Fire", "Life" and "Dragon". So given the conditions I decided to combine the Splinters Dragon and Life, since they have monsters with good attributes and support abilities. In addition, the Splinter Dragon has the "Lily Shieldpaw" summoner, whose buff and abilities it grants apply very well to this case.

Usé a Lily Shieldpaw como invocador con el propósito de tomar ventaja del buff y habilidades que otorga, ideales en estas circunstancias. En la primera posición usé a Djinn Chwala, ya que cuenta con los atributos y habilidades necesarios para actuar como tanque. En la segunda posición usé a Corsair Bosun con la finalidad de proteger al resto de la composición de la habilidad “Blast”, y también contribuir con el daño desde la segunda línea. En la tercera posición usé a Venari Crystalsmith con el propósito de dar soporte al tanque mediante su habilidad “Tank Heal”, y contribuir con el daño desde la segunda línea. En la cuarta posición usé a Pelacor Arbalest con la finalidad de tomar ventaja del daño que hace mediante su habilidad “Double Strike”. En la quinta posición usé a Supply Runner con el propósito de tomar ventaja mediante su habilidad “Swiftness”, y contribuir con el daño desde la segunda línea. Por último usé al Dr. Blight con la finalidad de tomar ventaja de sus habilidades: “Poison” y “Affliction”.

I used Lily Shieldpaw as a summoner with the purpose of taking advantage of the buff and skills it grants, ideal in these circumstances. In the first position I used Djinn Chwala, since he has the necessary attributes and skills to act as a tank. In the second position I used Corsair Bosun in order to protect the rest of the composition of the "Blast" skill, and also contribute with damage from the second line. In the fourth position I used Pelacor Arbalest in order to take advantage of the damage he does with his "Double Strike" ability. In the fifth position I used Supply Runner in order to take advantage of his "Swiftness" ability, and contribute with damage from the second line. Lastly, I used Dr. Blight to take advantage of his "Poison" and "Affliction" abilities.

En el turno 26 de la ronda 1, Djinn Chwala abatió a Shieldbearer. El enemigo había perdido a su mejor tanque, y el monstruo en su segunda posición había sido debilitado mediante el “Blast”. Sin embargo, el enemigo contaba con un mayor daño en su ofensiva, por lo que aún faltaba luchar.

On turn 26 of round 1, Djinn Chwala took down Shieldbearer. The enemy had lost its best tank, and the monster in its second position had been weakened by "Blast". However, the enemy had more damage in its offensive, so there was still a fight left to fight.

En el turno 14 de la ronda 2, Corsair Bosun abatió a Luminous Eagle. El enemigo ya sólo contaba con 3 monstruos de los cuales sólo 2 podían atacar. Sin embargo, Djinn Chawala estaba próximo a caer.

On turn 14 of round 2, Corsair Bosun shot down Luminous Eagle. The enemy now had only 3 monsters of which only 2 could attack. However, Djinn Chawala was about to fall.

En el turno 1 de la ronda 3, el Supply Runner enemigo fue abatido por el efecto de la habilidad “Poison”. El enemigo ya sólo contaba con 2 monstruos los cuales no podían hacer mucho, por lo que el rumbo de la batalla estaba más que definido. En el turno 11 de la ronda 3, mi Pelacor Arbalest abatió al Pelacor Arbalest enemigo, terminando la batalla. ¿Qué hizo la diferencia entre las estrategias? Pues, el enemigo no incluyó en su composición habilidades como: “Reflection Shield”, “Tank Heal”, “Triage” y “Poison”. Lo que resultó en una gran desventaja para él. On turn 1 of round 3, the enemy Supply Runner was killed by the effect of the "Poison" ability. The enemy already had only 2 monsters which could not do much, so the course of the battle was more than defined. On turn 11 of round 3, my Pelacor Arbalest killed the enemy Pelacor Arbalest, ending the battle. What made the difference between the strategies? Well, the enemy did not include in its composition abilities such as: "Reflection Shield", "Tank Heal", "Triage" and "Poison". This resulted in a great disadvantage for him.
