¡Saludos comunidad! El reto de esta semana es sobre una carta que por sus características es ideal para contribuir al daño desde nuestra segunda línea. Por lo general suelo usarla en partidas de alto maná más que todo, ya que en este tipo de partidas se suelen combinar diferentes tipos de daños que resultan en estrategías bastante potentes. Nerissa Tridawn, es un monstruo del Splinter de Agua, es del tipo épico, y pertenece a la edición de Chaos Legion.

Greetings community! This week's challenge is about a card that due to its characteristics is ideal to contribute to the damage from our second line. I usually use it in high mana games more than anything else, since in this type of games we usually combine different types of damage that result in quite powerful strategies. Nerissa Tridawn, is a Water Splinter monster, is of the epic type, and belongs to the Chaos Legion edition.

Nerissa Tridawn es un monstruo que desde su nivel 1 cuenta con buenos atributos. Y en contraste con sus niveles 2 y 3, la diferencia es un punto de velocidad y vida. En lo personal, poseo una copia de esta carta en su nivel 1, y como juego en la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, me va bastante bien. A pesar de que esta carta no tiene habilidades, es usada con frecuencia. De hecho, como les mencioné anteriormente, suelo usarla en partidas de alto maná, y también en conjunto con el Splinter Dragón. Ya que complementa muy bien el daño desde la segunda línea en las diferentes estrategias. Cabe resaltar que esta carta también se utiliza mucho en partidas con la condición “Back to Basics”, ya que por sus características, es una buena opción.

Let's move on to battle! As I mentioned before, I usually use this card in high mana games mostly to supplement the damage from the second line. Today I bring you such a game. In the following image you can see the battle conditions.

Usé a Possibilus The Wise como invocador, ya que las habilidades que otorga permiten aprovechar mejor el daño físico. Además, el aumento de 2 puntos de vida a la composición incrementa su aguante contra el daño enemigo. En la Primera posición usé a Diemonshark como tanque, ya que sus características lo hacen ideal para ello pero además, lo usé porque gracias a la condición “Target Practice”, no recibirá daño mágico o de rango mientras existan monstruos en la segunda línea con ese tipo de daño. Así que podré aprovechar al máximo su ataque. En la Segunda posición usé a Demented Shark con el propósito de aumentar el daño físico de la composición, y contribuir con el daño desde la segunda línea. En la Tercera posición usé a Baakjira con la finalidad de canalizar todo el daño mágico o de rango del enemigo en él, y además tomar ventaja al reducir la velocidad del enemigo con su habilidad “Slow”, y el incremento de 1 punto de vida con la habilidad “Strengthen”. En la Cuarta posición usé a Djinn Oshannus con la finalidad de contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, y que en el caso de que Baakjira muera, él sea el nuevo objetivo del daño de mágico o de rango del enemigo. En la Quinta posición usé a la protagonista de la semana, Nerissa Tridawn, con la finalidad de contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, y en esta posición no es un objetivo directo de ataques mágicos o de rango del enemigo, ni de ataques de tipo “Sneak”. Finalmente, en la última posición usé a Angelic Mandarin con la finalidad de dar soporte a los monstruos de la segunda línea mediante su habilidad “Triage”, proteger a la composición de ataques de tipo “Sneak”, y contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. Cabe destacar que cada carta está en la posición adecuada para cumplir con el propósito de la estrategia y aprovechar al máximo su potencial.

In the third position I used Baakjira with the purpose of channeling all the enemy's magic or ranged damage on him, and also take advantage by reducing the enemy's speed with his "Slow" ability, and the increase of 1 health point with the "Strengthen" ability. In the fourth position I used Djinn Oshannus in order to contribute to the damage from the second line, and in case Baakjira dies, he will be the new target of the enemy's magic or ranged damage. In the fifth position I used the protagonist of the week, Nerissa Tridawn, in order to contribute to the damage from the second line, and in this position she is not a direct target of magic or ranged attacks from the enemy, nor of "Sneak" attacks. Finally, in the last position I used Angelic Mandarin in order to support the monsters in the second line with its "Triage" ability, protect the composition from "Sneak" attacks, and contribute to the damage from the second line. It should be noted that each card is in the right position to fulfill the purpose of the strategy and make the most of its potential.

En el turno 2 de la ronda 2, Djinn Oshannus abatió a Wave Brood con un ataque duplicado gracias a la condición “Ferocity”. Ya el enemigo perdió su monstruo con “Taunt”, y ahora el daño de mi composición comenzaría a distribuirse diferente.

En el turno 2 de la ronda 5, Diemonshark abatió al Djinn Oshannus enemigo. A esta altura de la batalla, 2 de mis monstruos habían sido abatidos, y el enemigo contaba tan sólo con 3 monstruos, y uno de ellos estaba próximo a caer.

En el turno 11 de la ronda 5, Diemonshark fue abatido pero luego Demented Shark abatió a la Nerissa Tridawn enemiga. El enemigo ya sólo contaba con dos monstruos, de los cuales 1 estaba próximo a caer. En el turno 14 de la ronda 5, Nerissa Tridawn abatió a Axemaster, dejando al enemigo con tan sólo 1 monstruo. Finalmente, en el turno 1 de la ronda 7, Djinn Oshannus abatió a Deeplurker. Cerrando la batalla con una victoria. Cabe destacar que es importante considerar las condiciones de la partida para plantear nuestras estrategias. Por ejemplo, el enemigo usó un monstruo con habilidad “Taunt” aún cuando la condición de la partida no le favorecía, ya que “Ferocity” duplica el daño hacía monstruos con habilidad “Taunt”, lo cual es una gran desventaja. Además, también usó a Djinn Oshannus para recibir todo el daño de mi composición pero no agregó alguna otra carta que le diera soporte para aumentar su aguante. Por estas razones, mi estrategia alcanzó la victoria. En las siguientes imágenes pueden observar todo esto.

For example, the enemy used a monster with "Taunt" ability even when the game condition did not favor him, since "Ferocity" doubles the damage to monsters with "Taunt" ability, which is a big disadvantage. In addition, he also used Djinn Oshannus to take all the damage from my composition but did not add any other card to support him to increase his stamina.
