¡Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! - Immortalis & Elven Mystic for Wands out Ruleset

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero hablarles sobre un par de cartas que he estado utilizando con el Splinter de Tierra en partidas con la condición “Wands Out”. Particularmente, en batallas con una condición de maná medio o alto, ya que hay más alternativas de cartas para complementar la estrategia. Las cartas que considero clave para la estrategia son las siguientes: El Invocador Immortalis, el cual es de tipo legendario, y pertenece a la edición de Chaos Legión. Y el Monstruo Elven Mystic, que es de tipo raro, y pertenece a la edición Untamed.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I want to tell you about a couple of cards that I have been using with the Earth Splinter in games with the "Wands Out" condition. Particularly, in battles with a medium or high mana condition, as there are more card alternatives to complement the strategy. The cards that I consider key to the strategy are the following: Summoner Immortalis, which is a legendary type, and belongs to the Chaos Legion edition. And the Elven Mystic Monster, which is of rare type, and belongs to the Untamed edition.

Immortalis es un invocador que otorga unas habilidades bastante interesantes. Las cuales aplicadas en las condiciones adecuadas, pueden darte una gran ventaja en tus batallas. Por ejemplo: Disminuir en un punto la vida del oponente representa una ventaja para nosotros, independientemente de las condiciones de la partida. La habilidad “Void”, es ideal para la condición de batalla “Wands Out”, ya que al ser el daño mágico el único permitido en la batalla, reducirlo mediante el “Void”, es una clara ventaja para nosotros. Y respecto a la habilidad “Shatter”, pues aplicarla con la condición “Wands Out” no tiene mucho sentido pero si además en la batalla también está presente la condición “Weak Magic”, pues, esto pone aún más la balanza a nuestro favor, ya que podremos anular el escudo enemigo, y aprovechar al máximo nuestros ataques.

Immortalis is a summoner that grants quite interesting abilities. Applied in the right conditions, they can give you a great advantage in your battles. For example: Decreasing the opponent's health by one point represents an advantage for us, regardless of the game conditions. The "Void" skill is ideal for the "Wands Out" battle condition, since magic damage is the only damage allowed in the battle, reducing it by "Void" is a clear advantage for us. And regarding the "Shatter" skill, applying it with the "Wands Out" condition does not make much sense, but if the "Weak Magic" condition is also present in the battle, this puts the balance even more in our favor, since we can cancel the enemy shield, and make the most of our attacks.

Elven Mystic es un monstruo que en su nivel 4 adquiere una habilidad que es muy útil para combatir el daño mágico. La habilidad “Silence” permite reducir el daño mágico en un punto, y combinada con otras habilidades, como por ejemplo “Void”, puede darnos una gran ventaja contra el daño mágico. Es por esto que en partidas con la condición de batalla “Wands Out”, esta carta en conjunto con Immortalis, conforman una estrategia con un gran potencial.

Elven Mystic is a monster that at level 4 acquires an ability that is very useful to combat magic damage. The "Silence" ability allows you to reduce magic damage by one point, and combined with other abilities, such as "Void", it can give you a great advantage against magic damage. This is why in games with the "Wands Out" battle condition, this card together with Immortalis, make up a strategy with great potential.

Immortalis tiene un costo por BCX de 21.76 $. Por lo que adquirirlo en su nivel 2, tiene un costo de 65.28 $. Teniendo en cuenta que el precio de invocadores legendarios de ediciones pasadas es más alto, el precio de esta carta es un poco más accesible. Immortalis has a cost per BCX of 21.76 $. So acquiring it at its level 2, has a cost of 65.28 $. Evidentemente es una carta costosa para ser de tipo común pero esto se debe a que pertenece a una edición antigua, la cual ya no se está imprimiendo. Además de ello, es Neutral, lo que la hace una carta muy versátil. Tener en cuenta que estos son los precios al momento de realizar esta publicación, y los mismos podrían cambiar de acuerdo a las variaciones del mercado.

Elven Mystic has a cost per BCX of 3.00 $. So to acquire it in its level 4, it has a cost of 75 $. Evidently it is an expensive card for a common type but this is because it belongs to an old edition, which is no longer in print. Besides that, it is Neutral, which makes it a very versatile card. ¡Pasemos a la batalla! Como les mencioné anteriormente, suelo aplicar esta estrategia en partidas con un límite de maná medio o alto, y con la condición de batalla “Wands Out”. Hoy, les traigo una partida así, con un límite de maná alto, y por supuesto la condición “Wands Out”.

Let's move on to the battle! As I mentioned before, I usually apply this strategy in games with a medium or high mana limit, and with the "Wands Out" battle condition. Today, I bring you such a game, with a high mana limit, and of course the "Wands Out" condition.

Como invocador usé a Immortalis, ya que las habilidades que otorga son bastante útiles en estas condiciones, especialmente la habilidad “Void”. En la Primera posición usé a Mycelic Slipspawn con la finalidad de concentrar todo el daño enemigo en él, y dar tiempo a mi segunda línea de atacar a la formación enemiga, y tomar ventaja. En la Segunda posición usé a Oaken Behemoth para aportar al daño desde la segunda línea mediante su habilidad “Reach”, y además proteger al resto de la composición en el caso de que el tanque muera. En la Tercera posición usé a Centauri Mage con la finalidad de contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, y además proteger al resto de la composición en el caso de que los monstruos de la Primera y Segunda posición mueran. En la Cuarta posición usé a Goblin Psychic, con el propósito de dar soporte al tanque mediante su habilidad “Heal”, y también contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. En la Quinta posición usé a Elven Mystic, principalmente para reducir el daño mágico del enemigo en un punto, y también contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. En la Última posición usé a Suidae Shaman para contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea pero en este caso dicho daño es potenciado mediante su habilidad “Recharge”, por lo que permite rematar en algunos casos a su objetivo. Cabe destacar que los aspectos importantes de esta estrategia radican en su resistencia al daño mágico, y la reducción del daño mágico enemigo. Por lo que en estas condiciones de batalla, es ideal.

As a summoner I used Immortalis, since the abilities it grants are quite useful in these conditions, especially the "Void" ability. In the first position I used Mycelic Slipspawn in order to concentrate all the enemy damage on him, and give time to my second line to attack the enemy formation, and take advantage. In the second position I used Oaken Behemoth to contribute to the damage from the second line with his "Reach" ability, and also protect the rest of the composition in case the tank dies. In the third position I used Centauri Mage in order to contribute to the damage from the second line, and also protect the rest of the composition in case the monsters of the first and second positions die. In the fourth position I used Goblin Psychic, with the purpose of giving support to the tank through its "Heal" ability, and also contribute to the damage from the second line. In the fifth position I used Elven Mystic, mainly to reduce the enemy's magic damage by one point, and also contribute to the damage from the second line. In the last position I used Suidae Shaman to contribute to the damage from the second line but in this case this damage is boosted by his "Recharge" ability, so it allows to finish off his target in some cases. It should be noted that the important aspects of this strategy lie in its resistance to magic damage, and the reduction of enemy magic damage. So in these battle conditions, it is ideal.

En el turno 14 de la ronda 2, Djinn Oshannus fue abatido por Centauri Mage. Cabe descartar que para esta altura de la batalla, ya había muerto y resucitado. El enemigo perdió a su tanque, y el resto de su composición estaba comprometida ya que contaban con poca vida.

En el turno 17 de la ronda 2, Venari Wavesmith fue abatido por un ataque potenciado de Suidae Shaman. El enemigo ya sólo contaba con 4 monstruos mientras mi composición permanecía completa.

En el turno 5 de la ronda 3, River Nymph fue abatida por un ataque de Oaken Behemoth, el enemigo ya sólo contaba con 2 monstruos. En el turno 11 de la ronda 3, Venari Spellsmith fue abatido por Centauri Mage, dejando al enemigo con tan sólo un monstruo. Finalmente, en el turno 6 de la ronda 4, Nerissa Tridawn fue abatida por Elven Mystic. Terminando la batalla con una victoria. Cabe destacar que en la estrategia planteada cada carta cumplió su función, y la diferencia entre ambas estrategias radica en usar monstruos en las primeras posiciones con el aguante suficiente para proteger al resto de la composición. Además, proporcionarles soporte para sanar su vida. También, si es un sólo tipo de daño el permitido en la partida, como es este caso, aumentar la resistencia de nuestra composición a este, o reducirlo para minimizar su efecto en nuestra composición. On turn 11 of round 3, Venari Spellsmith was killed by Centauri Mage, leaving the enemy with only one monster. Finally, on turn 6 of round 4, Nerissa Tridawn was taken down by Elven Mystic. Ending the battle with a victory. It should be noted that in the strategy proposed each card fulfilled its function, and the difference between both strategies lies in using monsters in the first positions with enough stamina to protect the rest of the composition. In addition, provide them with support to heal their life. Also, if only one type of damage is allowed in the game, as in this case, increase the resistance of our composition to it, or reduce it to minimize its effect on our composition.
