¡Saludos comunidad! El reto de esta semana es sobre una regla de batalla que no permite usar cartas neutrales. En la siguiente sección se explicará más a detalle, por lo que tener en cuenta este aspecto en el análisis para formar nuestras estrategias, es un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de las mismas. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo combiné los Splinters Dragón y Vida, el invocador Quix The Devious, los monstruos Vruz, Naga Brute, Aves Sturgis, Adelade Brightwing, entre otros para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Taking Sides es una regla que no permite utilizar monstruos de tipo Neutral en la batalla.

Por lo que si hay alguna carta de tipo Neutral, la cual estás acostumbrado a incluir en tus estrategias, como por ejemplo: “Dr. Blight”. Es importante que tomes la precaución de utilizar otra carta similar bajo estas circunstancias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 34 puntos, esta cantidad de maná nos permite elegir invocadores con un costo entre 4 y 7 puntos. Sin embargo, es recomendable usar invocadores con un coste de 4 o 5 puntos para tener una cantidad de maná restante suficiente que permite la elección de los monstruos adecuados. En el caso de usar invocadores con un coste de maná de 6 o 7, lo más adecuado es tener una estrategia bien definida.

La regla Taking Sides ya la expliqué a detalle en la sección anterior. Por otra parte, la regla Fog of War, elimina las habilidades: “Sneak”, “Snipe” y “Opportunity” de todos los monstruos en la batalla.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí combinar a los Splinters Dragón y Vida, ya que cuentan con monstruos que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen daño mágico y de rango. Asimismo, cuentan con habilidades como: “Void Armor”, “Thorns”, “Weapons Training”, “Repair”, “Resurrect”, “Tank Heal”, entre otras y con un invocador que reduce la velocidad y daño de rango del enemigo en 1 punto.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de daño. Es por ello, que decidí elegir al invocador Quix The Devious, que reduce la velocidad y daño de rango del enemigo en 1 punto.

Vruz ocupó la primera posición temporalmente con el propósito de incrementar todas las estadísticas de Naga Brute en 1 punto, mediante su habilidad “Martyr”.

Naga Brute ocupó temporalmente la segunda posición mientras era potenciado por Vruz para posteriormente ser el tanque del equipo.

Aves Sturgis se usó con el propósito de otorgar la mitad de su daño mágico a Naga Brute, mediante su habilidad “Weapons Training”. Y para contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea.

Adelade Brightwing se usó para dar soporte al equipo mediante sus habilidades “Repair” y “Resurrect”, específicamente a Naga Brute. Y contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea.

Lone Boatman se usó para dar soporte al equipo mediante su habilidad “Repair” y contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea.

Venari Crystalsmith ocupó la última posición para dar soporte a Naga Brute mediante su habilidad “Tank Heal” y contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea.

Entonces, conociendo la formación, es importante destacar la ventaja que aporta Aves Sturgis al otorgar parte de su daño mágico a Naga Brute. Del mismo modo lo hacen, Vruz y Adelade Brightwing, los cuales permiten incrementar el daño mágico de Naga Brute y aumentar su resistencia, regenerando su escudo.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Quix The Devious y los monstruos Vruz, Naga Brute, Aves Sturgis y Adelade Brightwing. fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 3 de la ronda 6, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Naga Brute se defendió muy bien en la primera posición. Por otra parte, Vruz, Aves Sturgis y Adelade Brightwing cumplieron su objetivo de incrementar 2 veces todas las estadísticas de Naga Brute y prestarle apoyo restaurando su escudo para aumentar su resistencia. Del mismo modo, contribuyeron al igual que Lone Boatman y Venari Crystalsmith para debilitar al enemigo hasta abatirlo. Cabe destacar la participación de Venari Crystalsmith evitando que Naga Brute muriera a causa del efecto de la habilidad “Poison”.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es una formación enemiga que contrarresta el daño mágico o de rango y que incluya habilidades como: “Void”, “Void Armor”, “Shatter”, “Return Fire”, “Affliction” y “Dispel”.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el daño de la ofensiva enemiga no era tan elevado. Su estrategia tampoco contaba con habilidades de soporte como: “Repair”, “Martyr” ni habilidades de resistencia como: “Shield”, “Void” o “Void Armor”.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Ranked battle in the Modern format, focusing my analysis on explaining how I combined the Dragon and Life Splinters, the summoner Quix The Devious, the monsters Vruz, Naga Brute, Aves Sturgis, Adelade Brightwing, among others to be consistent with the battle rules present and the skills I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the proposed strategy.

Since these aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the team and its strategy. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use any type of damage. That is why, I decided to choose the summoner Quix The Devious, which reduces the speed and ranged damage of the enemy by 1 point.

Vruz occupied the first position temporarily for the purpose of increasing all of Naga Brute's stats by 1 point, using his "Martyr" ability.

Naga Brute temporarily occupied the second position while being boosted by Vruz to later become the team's tank.

Aves Sturgis was used with the purpose of granting half of his magic damage to Naga Brute, through his "Weapons Training" skill. And to contribute with his damage from the second line.

Adelade Brightwing was used to support the team through her "Repair" and "Resurrect" abilities, specifically to Naga Brute. And to contribute with her damage from the second line.

Lone Boatman was used to support the team with his "Repair" ability and contribute with his damage from the second line.

Venari Crystalsmith occupied the last position to support Naga Brute with his "Tank Heal" ability and contribute his damage from the second line.

So, knowing the formation, it is important to highlight the advantage that Aves Sturgis brings by granting part of his magic damage to Naga Brute. Likewise, Vruz and Adelade Brightwing, which allow to increase Naga Brute's magic damage and increase his resistance, regenerating his shield.

As I mentioned before, choosing the summoner Quix The Devious and the monsters Vruz, Naga Brute, Aves Sturgis and Adelade Brightwing was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Notice how by turn 3 of round 6, the enemy team was almost down. Naga Brute defended very well in the first position. On the other hand, Vruz, Aves Sturgis and Adelade Brightwing fulfilled their goal of increasing 2 times all of Naga Brute's stats and supporting him by restoring his shield to increase his resistance. In the same way, they contributed as well as Lone Boatman and Venari Crystalsmith to weaken the enemy until he was killed. It is worth mentioning the participation of Venari Crystalsmith preventing Naga Brute from dying due to the effect of the "Poison" ability.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, good offense, and consistency with the present rule set.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy formation that counteracts magic or ranged damage and includes abilities such as: "Void", "Void Armor", "Shatter", "Return Fire", "Affliction" and "Dispel".

The difference between the strategies was that the damage of the enemy offensive was not as high. Their strategy also did not have support skills such as: "Repair", "Martyr" or resistance skills such as: "Shield", "Void" or "Void Armor".

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
