¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Agua. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná bajo y con la regla de batalla “Aim True”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo usé al Splinter de Agua, el invocador Kelya Frendul y las unidades Diemonshark, Uraeus, Igor Darkspear y Torrent Fiend para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 17 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir invocadores con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Sin embargo, es importante tener una estrategia bien definida para poder aprovechar los puntos restantes. Por lo general, bajo estas circunstancias, lo recomendable es elegir invocadores con un costo de 4 puntos o menos, para poder elegir las unidades adecuadas.

Aim True es una regla que permite a las unidades que siempre acierten sus ataques.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Agua, ya que cuenta con monstruos que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen daño melee y ranged. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Enrage”, “Trample”, “Sneak”, “Poison”, “Stun”, entre otras y con un invocador que incrementa la velocidad y armadura del equipo en 1 punto.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de daño. Es por ello que decidí elegir al invocador Kelya Frendul, ya que incrementa la velocidad y armadura del equipo en 1 punto.

Diemonshark fue el tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, su gran cantidad de puntos de armadura y vida, las cuales son adecuadas para las circunstancias. Además, las habilidades “Enrage” y “Trample”, le permiten incrementar su daño y velocidad, al igual que aprovechar mejor su ataque en el caso de matar a una unidad.

Uraeus juega un papel clave en el equipo, ya que su objetivo es debilitar a las unidades en la segunda línea enemiga, mediante la combinación de las habilidades “Sneak” & “Poison”.

Igor Darkspear al igual que Uraeus, también tiene un rol clave en el equipo, ya que además de contribuir con su daño, también le proporciona cierta ventaja al equipo mediante la habilidad “Stun”.

Por último, Torrent Fiend tiene el propósito de proteger a Igor Darkspear de posibles ataques “Sneak” enemigos para darle un poco más de tiempo en la batalla.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Kelya Frendul y las unidades Diemonshark, Uraeus, Igor Darkspear y Torrent Fiend, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 1 de la ronda 3, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Diemonshark enfrentó bastante bien al equipo enemigo desde la primera posición. Del mismo modo, la contribución de Uraeus e Igor Darkspear fue clave para debilitar al enemigo. Al igual que la participación de Torrent Fiend, el cual cumplió su objetivo de proteger a Igor Darkspear. Es importante mencionar las habilidades que considero clave para esta estrategia: “Enrage”, “Trample”, “Sneak”, “Poison” y “Stun”.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con resistencia contra el daño melee y ranged. Además que incluya en su estrategia habilidades como: “Demoralize”, “Halving”, “Shatter”, “Thorns”, “Shield”, “Protect”, “Repair”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con habilidades de soporte como “Protect”, “Shield” y “Repair”. Por lo que la recuperación de la vida de su tanque no fue suficiente en comparación al daño generado por mi ofensiva. Lo que terminó debilitando rápidamente al equipo enemigo.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Mana limit equal to 17 points, this amount allows us to choose summoners with a mana cost between 4 and 7 points. However, it is important to have a well-defined strategy to be able to take advantage of the remaining points. In general, under these circumstances, it is advisable to choose summoners with a cost of 4 points or less, to be able to choose the right units.

Aim True is a rule that allows units to always hit their attacks.

So, taking all these aspects into account, I decided to use the Water Splinter, since it has monsters with good stats, including good melee and ranged damage. It also has abilities such as: "Enrage", "Trample", "Sneak", "Poison", "Stun", among others, and a summoner that increases the team's speed and armor by 1 point.

Let's talk about the team and its strategy. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use any kind of damage. That's why I decided to choose the summoner Kelya Frendul, since it increases the team's speed and armor by 1 point.

Diemonshark was the tank in this opportunity, since it has good stats, among them, its large amount of armor and life points, which are adequate for the circumstances. In addition, the "Enrage" and "Trample" abilities allow him to increase his damage and speed, as well as to take better advantage of his attack in the case of killing a unit.

Uraeus plays a key role in the team, since his objective is to weaken the units in the enemy's second line, through the combination of the "Sneak" & "Poison" abilities.

Igor Darkspear, like Uraeus, also plays a key role in the team, since in addition to contributing with his damage, he also provides some advantage to the team through the "Stun" skill.

Finally, Torrent Fiend has the purpose of protecting Igor Darkspear from possible enemy "Sneak" attacks to give him a little more time in battle.

As I mentioned before, choosing the summoner Kelya Frendul and the units Diemonshark, Uraeus, Igor Darkspear and Torrent Fiend was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Notice how by turn 1 of round 3, the enemy team was almost down. Diemonshark faced the enemy team quite well from the first position. Likewise, the contribution of Uraeus and Igor Darkspear was key to weaken the enemy. As well as the participation of Torrent Fiend, which fulfilled its goal of protecting Igor Darkspear. It is important to mention the skills that I consider key to this strategy: "Enrage", "Trample", "Sneak", "Poison" and "Stun".

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, good offense, and consistency with the present rule set.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has resistance against melee and ranged damage. In addition, it should include in its strategy skills such as: "Demoralize", "Halving", "Shatter", "Thorns", "Shield", "Protect", "Repair", among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have support skills such as "Protect", "Shield" and "Repair". Therefore, the recovery of their tank's life was not enough compared to the damage generated by my offensive. This ended up weakening the enemy team quickly.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the stats and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
