Stay focused

One of the hardest things to achieve is to stay focused on your goals.

Sometimes it is very easy to commit, but on the road, you may encounter many problems or distractions that will break that commitment you have. It’s very disappointing when you discover those distractions were useless or just a quick hobby, the aura that they left in your feelings is horrible but there isn’t too much to do than just keep going.

I’m always alone since a couple years ago, since most of my family members and all my friends left the country, I had always tried to do things on my own, I don’t like to ask for help to anyone, I’m the kind of person that thinks everything goes better when you do it by your own and that's something that has worked for me all these years so I don’t have regrets about it.

But there are moments when we fall…

We lost our goal, we go through anxiety and instability, we fall in love, we have an unbalanced between work and parties… and when you realize you are fucked up, is too late to recover again.

But among all the things that can happen in life i think the worst of all is to be betrayed. Nothing compares in destruction of feelings than betrayals, it is something that when it happens it sticks into your heart when it comes from somebody really close to you, but that is something you can’t control. While time keep going, we adquiere more protection to our emotions, we try to don’t share to many people, because always somebody is going to betray you, is sad to think in this way but is the reality, people think always in themselves first, except granny's, granny's loves everyone.

When you stay focused on your goals, nobody will stop you. Problems start when you leave that trail, and I have been through that these days… But we always have the chance for a fresh start.

A great way to fight those bad emotions is to be always busy, doing something, keeping your mind focused on something, and you have to try to make sure that those activities help you in the future or at least give you peace. It could be music, reading a book, writing or blogging, even watching a movie or series you want., but always busy, and leaving the dreams for the night. One of the things I have been doing is exercise, jumping rope, push-ups, cooking healthy things, staying focused on my career, and sleeping when I’m really really tired. Those things have made my days very different since then.

The truth is that life has beautiful things but it has shitty things as well, but we have to get used to it, because if not we will always be a bag of anxiety and depression and anyone wants that. Life is what you take from it, it is nice to think and have a planification for the future but we also have to live one day at a time, because we don’t know if something will happen the next day.

This is just advice from my experience, if it worked for me, for sure you should give it a try and stay focused on your goals as well.
