YOUTHS AND CRIME

Few weeks ago, I was going home for Easter celebration at ikorodu (somewhere in Lagos, Nigeria. I got home very late around 7:30pm that day,to my deepest Surprise I saw young youths of 20years to 25years of age half naked in the streets 😥😥😥😥😥. They were chasing after a grown up woman and men in the streets. Oh my God this is unbelievable guys,but is the truth.

But the question is that, what must have caused them to behave that way.
Is it hunger?
Is it depression?
Is it family upbringing or negative advice from friends?

Unfortunately I was stopping around there. I took a deep breath and prayed a short prayer and went my way. It was easy for me, because God was with me and because I have self control and I have a goal, I don't want such lifestyle to ruin my plans, but for a youth that have no plan and can be easily influenced , he/she won't be able to stop and will keep displaying stupid lifestyle.'it is well'

Causes of these crimes includes

(a) Peer pressure
(b) Bad parenting
(c) lack of contentment etc

Solutions

A youth that will be evil will be evil no matter the parental care or other good factor surrounding him/her.

So my advice is for the youth, have a goal in life, be prayerful and try to do things that will make people to remember you and appreciate you positively.
