ARCHITECTURE ALSO EXHIBITS ITSELF 2022-2

The Central University of Venezuela (UCV) is one of the most important educational institutions in Venezuela, recognized for its academic excellence and its commitment to the formation of leaders in different areas of knowledge. In this sense, the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the UCV in Barquisimeto stands out for the quality of its training, innovation, and creativity in the field of architecture and urbanism.

In this context, every year an exhibition is held in which the best final projects of the students are presented, as well as formative talks and a space to share among students, professors, and visitors. This year's exhibition took place at the Biotel, an emblematic place located next to the Obelisk, a monument of the city.

The exhibition began early in the morning with the opening of the doors of the Biotel, where there was a crowd of people waiting to enter and enjoy the exhibition. Upon entering, the atmosphere was one of enthusiasm and expectation to see the students' projects, as well as to participate in the different activities that were prepared.

The tour began in a spacious and luminous space where the final projects of the architecture students were located. The projects were arranged in such a way that visitors could appreciate in detail each of the aspects of the works. The projects were diverse, from buildings for residential use to urban projects for the revitalization of areas of the city.

Each project had a brief description explaining the concept that had inspired it and the technical and aesthetic aspects that made it stand out. In addition, the students were available to answer questions and share their experiences and creative processes with the visitors.

The exhibition was not limited to the exhibition of projects, but also had a series of formative talks and lectures given by experts in different areas of architecture and urbanism. The topics discussed were varied, from the importance of sustainability in architecture to the relationship between architecture and society.

The talks were well-attended, and the participants showed great interest and active participation in the discussions. The experts in each topic were willing to answer questions and share their experience and knowledge with the attendees.

In addition to the exhibition of projects and the formative talks, the exhibition also had a space for exchange and socialization among students, professors, and visitors. This space was designed to promote dialogue and the exchange of ideas, and was divided into different sections.

In one section, the students presented projects in digital format, where visitors could interact with the projects and make comments and questions. In another section, there were stands of sponsoring companies, which presented their products and services related to architecture and urbanism.

The exhibition was a resounding success, both for the quality of the projects presented and for the variety of activities offered.

La Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) es una de las instituciones educativas más importantes de Venezuela, reconocida por su excelencia académica y su compromiso con la formación de líderes en distintas áreas del conocimiento. En este sentido, la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la UCV en Barquisimeto es un núcleo que destaca por la calidad de su formación, su innovación y creatividad en el campo de la arquitectura y el urbanismo.

En este contexto, cada año se lleva a cabo una exposición en la que se presentan los mejores trabajos finales de los estudiantes, así como ponencias formativas y un espacio para compartir entre estudiantes, profesores y visitantes. La exposición de este año tuvo lugar en el Biotel, un lugar emblemático ubicado al lado del Obelisco, un monumento de la ciudad.

La exposición inició temprano en la mañana con la apertura de las puertas del Biotel, en donde se encontraba una multitud de personas esperando para entrar y disfrutar de la muestra. Al ingresar, el ambiente era de entusiasmo y expectativa por conocer los proyectos de los estudiantes, así como por participar en las distintas actividades que se tenían preparadas.

El recorrido iniciaba en un espacio amplio y luminoso donde se encontraban los trabajos finales de los estudiantes de arquitectura. Los proyectos se encontraban dispuestos de tal manera que los visitantes podían apreciar con detalle cada uno de los aspectos de las obras. Los proyectos eran diversos, desde edificaciones para uso residencial hasta proyectos urbanísticos para la revitalización de zonas de la ciudad.

Cada proyecto tenía una breve descripción en la que se explicaba el concepto que lo había inspirado y los aspectos técnicos y estéticos que lo hacían destacar. Además, los estudiantes se encontraban disponibles para responder preguntas y compartir sus experiencias y procesos creativos con los visitantes.

La exposición no solo se limitaba a la exhibición de proyectos, sino que también contaba con una serie de ponencias formativas y charlas impartidas por expertos en distintas áreas de la arquitectura y el urbanismo. Los temas que se trataron eran variados, desde la importancia de la sostenibilidad en la arquitectura hasta la relación entre la arquitectura y la sociedad.

Las charlas fueron muy concurridas, y los participantes mostraban un gran interés y participación activa en las discusiones. Los expertos en cada tema se mostraban dispuestos a responder preguntas y a compartir su experiencia y conocimiento con los asistentes.

Además de la exhibición de proyectos y las ponencias formativas, la exposición también contaba con un espacio para el intercambio y la socialización entre los estudiantes, profesores y visitantes. Este espacio estaba diseñado para fomentar el diálogo y el intercambio de ideas, y estaba dividido en diferentes secciones.

En una de las secciones, los estudiantes presentaban proyectos en formato digital, en donde los visitantes podían interactuar con los proyectos y hacer comentarios y preguntas. En otra sección, se encontraban los stands de las empresas patrocinadoras, las cuales presentaban sus productos y servicios relacionados con la arquitectura y el urbanismo.

La exposición fue un éxito rotundo, tanto por la calidad de los proyectos presentados como por la variedad de actividades que se ofrecieron.

Everyone puts a lot of effort and heart into their work, both teachers and students....
