Happy New Year to all

Amigos recién me estoy levantando y ando demasiado contento por una noche tan magnifica como la de anoche, la mejor forma de despedir el año y recibir el 2022 fue esta.

Friends I am just waking up and I am so happy for such a great night as last night, the best way to say goodbye to the year and receive 2022 was this.

Comenzamos con nuestra tradicional cena familiar, donde la costumbre es reírse mas que comer de forma tranquila, hablando sobre el pasado y sobre las aventuras de mis tíos y las mías ahora sobre como era llegar a tiempo a la cena navideña cuando se esta recorriendo la ciudad visitando a diferentes amigos para saludarlos antes de que acabara el año.

We started with our traditional family dinner, where the custom is to laugh more than eat in a quiet way, talking about the past and about the adventures of my uncles and me now about how it was to be on time for Christmas dinner when you are going around the city visiting different friends to greet them before the end of the year.

Después de cumplir la comida, procedimos a tomarnos nuestras mejores fotos frente al árbol, al mismo tiempo que acomodábamos tanto la música como las sillas afuera para darle alegría y desorden a nuestra noche.

After the meal was done, we proceeded to take our best pictures in front of the tree, while setting up both the music and the chairs outside to make our night both merry and messy.

Las horas restantes del año pasaron volando, entre comida, bebidas y escuchar las historias tanto de la familia como de los amigos de la misma volvieron muy interesante la noche. Conforme la noche transcurría, mas miembros de la familia o amigos pasaban a saludar antes de que el año terminara o llegaban para recibir el año junto a nosotros.

The remaining hours of the year flew by, between food, drinks and listening to the stories of both family and friends of the family made the night very interesting. As the night wore on, more family members or friends stopped by to say hello before the year was over or arrived to greet the year with us.

Cuando estábamos a segundos de que terminara el año, nos hemos abrazado todos y yo he dado las gracias por todo lo bueno que me trajo el año 2021 y de que las personas que mas quiero en este mundo están junto a mi en esta noche tan importante y que espero sigan en mi vida muchos años.

When we were seconds away from the end of the year, we all hugged and I gave thanks for all the good things that the year 2021 brought me and that the people I love the most in this world are with me on this important night and I hope they will be in my life for many years to come.
