Oficialmente dos años sin verlas.

Officially two years without seeing them.

Amigos el tiempo vuela, mas de lo que nosotros pensamos, hoy les cuento un poco de eso y de lo que estos tiempos cambiaron en nosotros.

Friends, time flies, more than we think, today I tell you a little of that and what these times have changed in us.

Ellas son Nohely y Maria, son de las primeras personas que conocí estando en la ULA y unas de mis amistades mas cercanas y antiguas que guardo de mis tiempos universitarios. Antes de que comenzara la #Cuarentena nos la pasábamos juntos, yendo de un lado a otros ya sea por asuntos de la universidad, el trabajo o por el simple hecho de ir a pasar un rato juntos; en otras palabras éramos un grupito de amigos que les gustaba pasar los días juntos. No todo es para siempre y a veces las situaciones que se nos escapan de las manos cambian mucho nuestras vidas.

They are Nohely and Maria, they are some of the first people I met while I was at ULA and some of my closest and oldest friends I keep from my university days. Before the #Quarantine started, we used to hang out together, going from one place to another, whether it was for university, work or just to spend some time together; in other words, we were a little group of friends who liked to spend our days together. Not everything is forever and sometimes situations that get out of hand change our lives a lot.

Estas fotos las tomamos exactamente el 31 de diciembre del 2019, ya que nos encontramos en la capital del estado en un día de compras inesperadas. Los tres somos de ciudades diferentes y distantes entre una y otra por lo que solo nos encontrábamos en la Capital ya sea por la universidad o por cualquier excusa. Después de ese día nuestros horarios tanto por el trabajo como por la misma universidad hicieron difícil que nos encontráramos los tres a la vez, asi que no era tan fácil vernos, pero, a raíz de la cuarentena vernos se volvió imposible; ya que todos conseguimos trabajos en nuestras ciudades y cuando alguno va a la capital, los otros dos no estamos disponibles para ir ese preciso día. Ya son dos años sin ver a estas maravillosas amigas y aunque estoy agradecido por todo lo que este 2021 me dio, admito que extraño a estas increíbles amigas.

We took these photos exactly on December 31, 2019, as we found ourselves in the state capital on an unexpected shopping day. The three of us are from different cities and distant from each other so we were only in the Capital either for college or for any excuse. After that day our schedules both for work and for the same university made it difficult for the three of us to meet at the same time, so it was not so easy to see each other, but, after the quarantine to see each other became impossible; since we all got jobs in our cities and when someone goes to the capital, the other two are not available to go that very day. It has been two years now without seeing these wonderful friends and although I am grateful for all that this 2021 has given me, I admit that I miss these amazing friends.
