Today Mother Nature has pleased me with a wonderful amazing sunset. In winter, the Sun in our region does not rise much above the horizon and goes over the horizon very early. It turns out that sunrise and sunset occur almost in the same direction. The sun appears in the southeast and sets in the southwest.



Usually from my bedroom window, I watch and photograph only the sunrises. Sunsets happen in the other direction. There is a mountain and a forest, behind which the Sun hides in summer. In autumn and spring, it hides behind a neighbor's house.
In recent years, there have been few clear sunny days in winter. Usually, the sky is overcast. For example, yesterday the Sun was visible for only 2 hours and this morning there were clouds in the sky, and towards evening the clouds began to leave. You can see it yourself in the photos.






Such a beautiful sunset and clear sky in the evening suggest that frost is approaching us. At night, the sky will be clear and the universal cold will descend to Earth again, displacing all heat to the sky.
Yes, it's winter! I live in a harsh climate.
But I was born here. I've been used to seeing cold winters since childhood, and sometimes even hot summers. This is my homeland! And I love her!
My daughter suggested that I go to live somewhere else. But my wife and I said we would live here. This is our land, this is our home. We love this place and do not want to live in another land, even if there is never a cold winter there.
