DIY I Just Crocheted a Yarn Earring for a Customer Who Wanted to Bribe me
Good day to every member of the #Jewelry community, nice to see you again and I’m glad to make another post. Today at my crocheting office I was faced with the challenge of meeting a worrisome customer who was never patient with me to complete the earring she asked to be crocheted for her.
When the customer came to my crocheting office and requested that I should crochet a yarn-made earring for her, I was already attending to other customers because most of my crocheting team was not around to assist me to complete other crocheting jobs for customers. I told the customer to give me some time so that I can comfortably start crocheting her own but she told me that she was ready to pay me higher than our previous agreement so that I can attend to her.
Immediately the customer told me that she can comfortably double the price of the earring that I was to crochet for her, I was shocked by such a statement because one of my crocheting rules was never to exploit any of my customers directly or indirectly because it may affect my crocheting business in the nearest future. I told the customer that such an attitude is against my rules and can never tolerate that.
At the end of the day, I rejected the offer from her but I tried to attend to her because she also told me that she was seriously in need of the earring because she is actually going out with her husband who has being far from her for some months now just as a result of the kind of job the husband does. I pitied the customer and tried to meet up with the earring but the only problem I had was just the stress of rushing other people's work.
Do you know that something unique occurred when I finished the lady's earring, what happened was when the customer saw how colorful the earring which I crocheted for her looks. She appreciated me and told me that I should keep up being faithful to the people I meet every day, especially with my crocheting business. Before the customer left my crocheting office, she added some cash for me than our previous agreement just because of the faithful she said I was with my crocheting job on how to handle customers.
Tools and materials that I used for the crocheting of the earring:
A White and black yarn was used.
An earring pendant was used.
A yarn crochet pin was used.
Sharp scissors were used for cutting yarn.
A lightning match was used.
Procedures applied in crocheting of the yarn-made earring:
One of the things I always make available is getting the whole materials that I’m expected to use.
I also get to know what the customer really wants me to crochet for her so that there will be no mistakes in the process of crocheting the earring.
The type of earring pendants I used for crocheting must match the customer's demand.
I have to start my crocheting by combining the white and black yarn material using the pendants.
I have to place my hand accordingly for the crochet to take place properly.
I make sure to crochet around the pendants before crocheting another shape of the earring.
After I finished crocheting the earring, I have to cut the yarn material used from the earring pendants using scissors.
I used a lighter to light out the fire which helped me trim the mouth of the earring that I crocheted so that the yarn will not lose later from the pendants.
