How I Made a Simple Color Necklace for Myself

avatar

Today, I made a simple color combination necklace and I’ll like to share the idea with you. I just believe that the outlook of the necklace through its color of beads and design will surely motivate you into making one for yourself. I was only motivated in making the necklace when I went to the market to get myself some food items.

Untitled Project (17).jpg

When I got to the market to get the food items, I entered one of my best food items customer shops. There in the shop, I met with another of my customer who sells bead material making to me. After I greeted the customer who used to sell bead material making to me. I noticed that he was wearing a wonderful necklace and he later told me that he meant it himself.

Do you know that seeing a customer who sells bead materials making to me wearing a colorful necklace made me feel ashamed of myself? This is because as a jewelry lover, I have always been making necklaces and other jewelry without making enough for myself. But imagine that someone who sells bead material making to me can actually have a colorful necklace to wear.

After I finished buying the food items, I followed the customer who sells bead material making to his shop. Right there in the shop, I told him that I’ll like him to assist me with good beads that I can use to make a colorful necklace that looks somehow like his own. This was how the customer suggested to me that adding a pendant to the necklace that I wish to make for myself will be a perfect outlook. This was how I bought a pendant from my bead-making material seller.

When I got home with the pendant and other beads I bought from my bead seller customers. I decided to make a simple and colored necklace after I have already finished preparing the food.

Dear friends, I don’t want to keep talking about this story anymore. At least, let’s talk about the steps used to make the necklace. But I just hope that you’ll also love the necklace just as I do.

Materials used in making the necklace will be highlighted below:

0.8mm nylon line.

1.5mm fishing line.

80 pieces of the brown sand bead.

50 pieces of aluminum pearl bead.

Pendant.

Bead stopper.

Necklace hook.

Cutter.

Plier.

Step 1:
All we have to do is to measure out a 0.8mm nylon line. After we have done just that, insert the nylon line into the pendant through the top round space. After inserting of the nylon line into the pendant, insert 1 piece of aluminum pearl, 1 piece of brown sand bead, 1 piece of aluminum pearl, and 1 piece of brown sand bead. You’ll repeat the method until you insert a total of 6 pieces of aluminum pearl and 6 pieces of the brown sand bead. After that, tie the mouth of the nylon line with beads. This will form a round shape at the top of the pendant.

Step 2:
You’ll have to measure out some lines from the 1.5mm fishing line. After that, insert 5 pieces of brown sand bead, 2 pieces of aluminum pearl bead, 2 pieces of brown sand bead, 2 pieces of aluminum pearl bead, and 5 pieces of brown sand bead into the fishing line. This will serve as the center of the necklace. Form the fishing line to have two round lines, insert to the left and right 2 pieces of aluminum pearl, 2 pieces of brown sand bead, 2 pieces of aluminum pearl, and 5 pieces of brown sand bead. You are to keep repeating the method until you finish inserting a total of 74 pieces of brown sand bead, and 44 pieces of aluminum pearl. But remember that the last beads from the two round lines have to be the brown sand bead.

Step 3.
By the time you have completed inserting the beads, take the pendant we inserted a total of 6 pieces of aluminum pear, and 6 pieces of brown sand bead, and then insert the fishing line having a total of 76 pieces of brown sand bead, and 44 pieces aluminum pearl through the round bead we formed into the pendant. Push the pendant to be at the center. Now, to the left side of the necklace closer to the 1 piece of brown sand bead, insert 2 bead stoppers. After that, insert a necklace hook. Then bend the fishing line to enter into the bead stoppers. After that, use a plier to lock it. You’ll have to do this to the right side of the necklace and still use a bead stopper to lock.
