Just Crocheted a Sandal with an Old Sole to Settle an Annoying Customer

I witnessed one of the most annoying customers today being Monday. Though, it’s normal in the crocheting shoe business for ladies because every week I meet different kinds of customers who place different orders. The behavior of any of my customers will always be tolerated as it’s among my policy.

It happened that I have not been feeling too strong in health for the past two days. In that regard, a customer who placed an order for a crocheted sandal two days ago came this morning for the sandal. When the customer came to collect the sandal as agreed, I was already lying down after her job was done the moment I came to the shop this morning. I make sure that her crocheted sandal is ready before laying down to rest while other jobs are continued by my teams.

Do you know that when the customer came to collect the sandal in the morning? She rejected the crocheted sandal because she said that the sole I used for the sandal is not her desire. Meanwhile, what I and she agreed was to use a flat sole for the sandal because of the amount of money she was able to pay. When she came this morning and rejected the sandal, she claimed that she agreed with the price I gave to her previously to crochet a high heel sandal for her. I was confused because I heard her clear during the time of price negotiation but in order not to be arguing with her, I told her to go and come back this evening so that I will use a high heel so for the job as she requested.

I sent one of my workers to go get me a black high heel sole in the market because the one I had in the shop got finished. By the time my customer could get to the market for the sole, he noticed that every shop in that area was closed because there was an ongoing riot among marketers and unidentified government bodies over levy payment. My worker came back to me and explained everything to me. I didn’t know what to do again but as nature may have it, I had some previous work I did for other customers but of different designs of yarn crochet. I removed one high heel sole from the previous job I did and fixed it for the new customer.

When the customer came back this evening for the crocheted sandal from the previous one she rejected, I was lying down to take a rest because of my health. I sent one of my team to attend to her. When she saw the sole of the sandal, she started quarreling that the sole looks old. Her statement and shout provoked my workers as they wanted to send her out of the shop but I intervened and told them to let her be. I called her to the order by telling her what made the sole look old. She later apologized to me the moment she noticed that I am not feeling too strong in health and that the quality of the sole is good.

Materials and tools considered for the crocheting of the sandal are as follows:

Black yarn material.

A black high heel sole.

Yarn pin and needle.

Lightening matches.

A sandal buckle.

Gum.

Scissors.

Hammer.

Procedures used for the crocheting of the sandal:

I removed an old high heel sole from one of the previous jobs I did and I made other materials available.

I took the measurement of the leather to be crocheted according to the leg size of the owner.

I cut out the leather been measured.

I started and finished crocheting the design of the sandal with the leather being measured.

I sandpapered the sole and the leather that I crocheted with.

I placed some gum on them and then place them under the sun to dry.

I fixed the crocheted sandal accordingly.

The sandals do look nice. I love how the crochet looks on your shoes.

It would be nice if you could use a form to record the agreements with your customers.

I hope your health gets better soon.
