NeedleWork: I Just Knitted a Pam Slippers to Support my Old Ones

(Edited)

Today being Monday, I made special Pam slippers for myself in order to help me with work, especially whenever I feel like going out. I can easily wear them.

I chose to make use of black and white yarn material for the slippers because the color black and white is always a good match to make any slippers. Because of the black and white slippers, I knitted, I can comfortably wear them with any type of color clothes because they will always fit in.

When talking about the black color yarn I used for this special Pam slipper, it stands for seniority and maturity as well while the white color stands for purity and faithfulness. The two combinations are always best to be used in any knitting materials, especially for slippers.

At the time of my writing, I have already called my wife who is already in the market to get some foodstuff for family cooking to help and get me a good gene dress because I know it will be good for this new Pam slipper I just made today.

When I was knitting the slippers, one of my team asked me if I am celebrating anyone again today after celebrating my sister's birthday yesterday and I answered him that does not matter to me but based on your question, I think It will be a good one if I and my wife uses the opportunity to still take my sister out for today been Monday and get her some things that will still make her happy since we only went out yesterday for relaxation.

I can’t even imagine why I keep celebrating my sister even here at the #NeedleWorkMonday community. Well, maybe it's because of the love we played along as brothers and sisters some years ago.

I have to confess to this community that truly after my mother and wife the next person is my younger sister even before my father. My love for my sister as a family is too much that I always make sure that I provide for her and nobody in the house insult or beat her. But all I keep saying is for her to round up with her academics and find a good husband and work or maybe I will just one day introduce her to this platform.

Materials used for the slippers are:

Yarn is a material generally used for the knitting of slippers and other craftworks.

Sole: When talking about sole, I mean the thick material that looks like leather but for the support of slippers. There are usually fixed under the slippers.

Leather: These are materials generally used at the top of a sandal.

Round buckle: This is what I used to give my knitting Pam slippers a round design with a well-knitted yarn around.

**Tools used for the slippers are: **

Scissors.

Hammer.

Yarn pin or needle.

Lighter matches.

Gum.

Brush.

How the slippers were made:

Getting the materials available for the slippers.

Taken measurement of the slippers.

Cutting the leather accordingly based on the sketch.

Knitting the design of the slippers on the leather I just cut.

Weaving another style with yarn on the same leather.

Sandpaper the sole and the leather.

Taken gum with a brush and then rub on the sole and leather.

Placed the sole and the leather under the sun.

Joining the knitted and hand weaved leather and the sole together.

Hit with a hammer gently.

If I said I like this Slippers, that's will be an understatement, because I really love it, for the colour and design.

It's dope.
