NeedleWorkMonday: A Customer Surprised My Team With a Gift After we Finished His Pam Slippers Demand

Good day to all my friends of #Hive and #NeedleWorkMonday community members. Hope all is well with you and your entire family including the Needlework business. As for me and my team, we are having many customers who are making huge demand for sandals, slippers, and shoes as some of the customers wish to give their loved ones as Easter celebration gifts.

Because of the high demand for slippers from customers across Benue State, Lagos, and entire Nigeria, we have been encountering different customer behaviors. The behaviors sometimes sound o funny and sometimes sounds difficult. You know that human being entirely is the most difficult higher animal to control especially when it comes to business.

Could you imagine that today, one of our regular customers who used to make a large number of slippers demand from our office makes a demand for a specific demand of slippers last week and today he came to collect the work? Though when he came, we were already finishing the slippers. So we asked him to sit and exercise a little patience with us which he did. We offered him cold water and one coke bottled drink because of the hot weather we are still facing at my working place.

Did you know that the moment that our customer finished the cold drink, he was happy and asked us if we can also offer him food too that he has not eaten this morning before coming to our office? Hmm to me this sounds funny because I can’t see the reason why a customer will be demanding food. Though some of my apprentices wanted to quarrel with the man I stopped them and asked them to go get the man a plate of rice and pepper soup. My teammate looked at me and I told them never to worry.

The man ate the food and was just smiling. When we finished the number of slippers he demanded and offered it to him, do you know what happened? The man gave my team $30 as a gift and a company complementary card that he purposely demanded that food waiting to see the reaction from me and my team. Well, that was how we met a Good Samaritan who gave us afternoon wine. Sometimes is good not to act so fast toward your customer.

The major materials we used for the working of the male Pam Slippers:

Leather is a simple material used for the making and designing of shoes, slippers, sandals, bags, and many others by a shoemaker. Leather could also be used by needle workers to design different things that could support human aid-wearing activities for outings and many more.

The sewing machine is a manual thread machine used by shoemakers to design and for the sewing of shoes, slippers, sandals, and bags before gumming them together with the sole. You always know that the sewing machine works together with the needle and thread.

Sole is the type of material used for the down padding of slippers, shoes, and sandals. The sole is used to gum the leather together so that the slippers can last longer without water damaging it at early use.

A buckle is used to support the slippers sometimes it could be for fancy and then sometimes it could be used in use when wearing to avoid the leg from pooling out from the slippers.

Scissors are sharp metal objects used for cutting leathers into pieces according to the chosen style of the shoemaker.

Gum is a common material in needlework used for the gumming together of the leather and the sole of the slippers before use.

How we make the Pam Slippers:

You have to make sure that you have quality materials of sole and leather for the work so that your customer will not complain.

You must know the size and style of slippers that you are working on.

Measure your leather with a pen or pencil according to the size and style of your Pam slippers.

Make sure to cut out the style and size of your leather Pam slippers carefully to avoid any damage to the material.

Make sure to sew the areas of your choice of leather which you wish to with a sewing machine which could be manual or electronic form.

Bring out your sole and then scratch with sandpaper alongside the leather.

Spray the gum sole and leather under the sun for some hours.

Then gum your sole and the leather together but make sure to hit lightly with a hammer to make the gum hold tighter.

You can now put your buckles accordingly.

Yes of course my team Pam slippers male wears is now ready.

Hi, this model of sandals is the one I wore as a child and so far I have not found it again, does this model have a specific name?.

Great work you do and the customers know it. Good vibes!.

I'm glad the customer turned out to be nice and gave you a gift! Sounds like a bit of a trickster testing your response like that. 😂
I really like that style of sandal! I used to have one similar many years ago and they were super comfortable.
