Cleaning the grass on the outskirts of the fields

Being devoted to both parents is an obligation for a child, as well as that which applies to me. This morning my father invited me to go to the fields because we had some important work to do, I immediately agreed to this invitation as a form of my filial piety to my beloved parents.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast that our mother had prepared, we went straight to the rice fields in Blang Mangat village, Syamtalira Bayu sub-district, North Aceh district and it was not so far from our house, along the way my body felt quite shivering because we were gone it was still very early at 06:00 in the morning.

About 15 minutes away by motorbike, we have now arrived at our rice fields, with the hoe that I brought from my house, I immediately cleaned the weeds that grew around the rice field boundaries, these grasses will really interfere with the growth of rice later, so we immediately clean it before the rice is planted.

Around 07:30 in the morning the weather was starting to feel a little hot because the sun had started to shine perfectly. At first my energy still felt normal, but when I reached halfway through the rice fields hoeing the grass I started to feel tired.

To neutralize this feeling of fatigue, I sat for a while on the edge of the rice field while drinking a few sips of water. At this time we are all very grateful because in the area where we live it has been a very long time since we could plow the rice fields which was caused by the damage to the irrigation dam on the Pasee River (Krueng Pasee).

After my energy started to stabilize again, I immediately continued hoeing the weeds so that they surrounded all the edges of the rice fields, and around 10:00 am we finished cleaning this patch of rice fields.
