Traveling to a place full of historical information is very enjoyable for me, that's the reason I went back to the Aceh Museum today to see the various kinds of Aceh history there.

Upon arrival at the Aceh Museum, today I decided to enter the historical building called the Temporary Exhibition "Regional Exhibition throughout Sumatra" Filologoka Collection.

When I arrived in this building, I was immediately greeted with various ancient books which contained all the history of the island of Sumatra, from Aceh to Lampung. These are ancient books which tell the secrets of the Acehnese civilization in script.

All that is in the room in this building are ancient books written in Javanese Arabic and also Middle Eastern Arabic. You can see these ancient books neatly arranged on glass shelves which are designed very aesthetically.

I also saw several historical pages written in ancient languages โ€‹โ€‹like the languages โ€‹โ€‹found in ancient temples in other parts of the world, even though I didn't understand the writing, I was really amazed to see every inch of history in this building. In fact, I saw that every paper used to write history was directly made from tree bark.

Every ancient book on display in this room also has its location of origin, such as ancient history books from Aceh Besar, Aceh Pidie, Bireun, North Aceh, East Aceh, Langsa, Aceh Tamiang, Central Aceh, West Aceh, North Sumatra , West Sumatra, Jambi, Riau, Lampung to Bengkulu.

I also saw several manuscripts of ancient historical writings written on buffalo horns and even on elongated pieces of paper that could be rolled up. From seeing all the parts in this museum I could understand one thing, namely how important history must continue to be understood by children and grandchildren. from our ancestors, even though there was no paper, they were even willing to write on sticks, animal skins and even tree bark.

After exploring all parts of this building, I decided to go home because I still have a lot of work to do today, see you in my next travel post.
