If My Father Betrayed!

Before getting into the main topic regarding the theme of "betrayal", I want to touch a little with a film I once watched entitled "New Rich People", this is a film from Indonesia which tells the story of a poor and simple family who suddenly become rich after Their father died, because their father was actually a rich man who deliberately hid his wealth from his children and wife.

Learning from the film, if my father was like that and deliberately hid his wealth from us for good reasons, I would be grateful for him considering that our family lives in harmony and happiness with our family's current simple economy.

Because for me, real happiness lies in the future, it's okay for us to live poor today if one day we can live well from my father's legacy of wealth.

Like the morals left in the film above, when they were poor their family always had time to have dinner together at the dining table in the small house they lived in.

However, when they suddenly became rich, everyone immediately became busy with themselves and there was no longer any warmth in the household, until finally they realized that their father's purpose in hiding his wealth was to gain warmth in the family with full gratitude for the wealth they had at that time. .

Likewise with me, I wouldn't be angry if my father was like that, because for me apart from money, moments of warmth with my family at home are also very meaningful.

And with our current simple life, I can learn many life lessons that make me more mature in responding to every problem we experience.

My mentality in sailing the seas of the world is better trained, and it also needs to be underlined here that I don't mean to say that living poor is comfortable, I really want to be rich. but if my father betrayed me I would still forgive him.

And another reason that makes me able to forgive my father if he betrays his wealth is that the legacy of wealth from him will enable me to manage my finances well because from now on I have always learned how to manage my finances well.

Maybe if I got rich straight away, I would be an arrogant teenager who looked down on other people. Sometimes I also imagine this ridiculous thing when I don't have any money in my wallet.

Before going to sleep in my head I always wondered, could it be that my father was a rich man who hid his wealth from us, if so, why didn't my father immediately give his wealth for the good and happiness of our family, but that fantasy suddenly disappeared when I remembered that my parents were just one farmer, haha.

And the final reason that makes me forgive my father is because by living like now I have become a person who can be responsible for myself, once again I want to thank my father if he is actually a rich man.

This is my entry for the Weekly Engagement-WK 41 contest, see you in the next post.

You have amazing reasons as to why you would forgive your father. Wealth has a way of setting families apart from each other. What I meant by this statement is that, once you're wealthy, your attention is focused on increasing your wealth, and as a result of that, you forget family.

I would love to watch that movie.
